  1. But the thing is: Medpacs, adrenals, relics, and vehicles, aren't nonsense. For that matter, it would be a stretch to call food, stims, Quick Travel, Emergency Fleet Pass, Fleet Pass, Throw the Huttball, or any other useful abilities nonsense as well. If you add even part of those, especially for certain classes, the quickslots are completely filled. Not including social stuff.
  2. I can't understand this. I'm no programmer, but I'd guess that coding in extra quickslot bars would be one of the simpler things about this game. How can you flaunt your movable bars when they're jam-packed with abilities?
  3. They are not arriving for 1.2. This is unacceptable. You know it's bad when you'd rather have a passive relic over a usable one just because the usable one takes precious space on our extremely limited quickslots... No room for adrenals/stims. Quick travel/fleet passes are best left in the Abilities Panel. Why do I have to swap out abilities from my Ability Panel for different situations? I've never had to do this in any previous game I've played. I was freaking out by level 30 on my Agent, looking ahead at all the skills I was going to learn. When I trained skills, I hoped for all upgrades and no new skills. When people dread to train their skills because they don't have room for them, something is wrong. This has been mentioned time and again. How were extra quickslot bars not a priority when attempting to bring this horrible UI up to acceptable standards? Thanks for closing this thread in the PTR forum by the way.
  4. Dear Witty, Edgy Roleplayer, After completing Pylons, I forgot to mention that the speeder almost always brings us to the exit to Gharj's cave as well, instead of to the Pylons. The scenery is nice, and it really enhances the extremely long, very pleasant walk back to Soa. Especially during a particularly delightful and engaging encounter with Soa in which he resets for no reason during phase 3, might I add! I hope that your search for an answer to this mysterious thread bears fruit. Until then, I hope that your lightsaber sword boxing mastery progresses well.
  5. Soooooo, last night pylons bugged on us. We were unable to click for 3rd tier, were forced to reset, reclear trash, and do it again. Now, not taking any chances, we're back to doing it the old bug-workaround way from now on... On Soa, I realize that being tossed around in the air and landing on a lightning ball for an instant death is a mix of RNG and possibly a player not kiting the ball away from the middle, but sometimes despite best efforts, this is unavoidable. I guess it's not a "bug," but a poor fight mechanic. This happened last night a couple times. Also during one attempt, while jumping down the platforms, the platform at the phase 2 circle directly under our last floating platform was missing. Yes, someone fell to their death by jumping into it. I had to restrain myself from laughing out loud on TS. You don't know how much willpower that took. Then when you go to battle rez someone, occasionally you are just unable to use your battle rez for no reason. Yes this is while the combat rez debuff is gone. We have issues of people dying, and occasionally being in other instances, or out of phase with the rest of the group while doing Soa. Last week, while running alts through a normal mode, good ol' Gharj bugged out, and the platform didn't sink until he was under 50%. I've seen this happen several times since January. One of the times, we killed him on his first platform, and he never even pounced once. But um the first boss doesn't really ever bug! Funny thing is: Karagga's Palace is well done. We've never really had any long term issues there, and we go through it without bugs bogging us down. It's sad to say, but because of the bugs, I'm going to breathe a sigh of relief when we don't have to do EV any more. Which is a shame, because the concepts of the Gharj and Soa fights are really interesting.
  6. First dibs on Defend the Shipment daily quest in Ilum before it bugs out until next reset!
  7. "It's only 2 months old!" Because saying it's only 2 months old totally justifies a crappy game.
  8. Sweet! Hopefully this will also help extremely high end machines when we go to lowest settings for Ilum PVP.
  9. More consistently? So since social points in HMs were 0% chance, now they're what, 25-75% chance? My main has been finished with HMs for weeks now. I am Social Rank 1 still. When we ran HMs, we weren't credited with untold amounts of social points. How did something like this take over 2 months to fix? The social points are part of the overall sense of accomplishment. I have grouped a great deal on my main character and have probably earned all the social ranks/rewards several times over. Yet now that this fix has been implemented, I can't help but feel bitter. Especially knowing there's no way to retroactively award all the missing points. I know. Big deal. They're just social points. The game is still in beta, and it's not like you're actually paying for it. Just be happy that you're privileged enough to test it. Go find a group and do BT normal mode over and over and over. Etc. etc.
  10. So I'm not entirely sure if the population cap is per faction before new instances are created. So if Ilum phase 1 fills up, will phase 2 be empty of anyone except for Imperials until phase 1 Republic side fills up?

  12. Horrible lag fest. Even if the turrets aren't being camped, the only other 'acceptable' option is to group en masse and fight face to face at one point on map. There's no point to this garbage. I've played other MMOs where my computer could handle world pvp with lots of people with no problem. Why is it so awful here? Please just shut west Ilum down until you guys come up with something worthwhile that has been thoroughly tested.
  13. Why remove access to artifact armoring? We assumed it was a work-around to be able to access it, rather than an "exploit". Is it an exploit if I leave my group to be able to use my ship travel?? Or am I destined to remain on my ship forever? This goes along with the numerous other bugs we have to dodge and work-around. How are we supposed to tell the difference between exploits and work-arounds? Fix this game please. It's been a month and I still can't press 'G' to view my guildmates without a Ctrl-U 2-times work-around.
