  1. Wow, I was pretty disappointed when I read that the server name was changed, especially to something so...boring. I actually liked the original name of "The Hot Prospect" as to me it sounded like a cool ship name, and I was looking forward to playing on it. But honestly, with "Satele Shan" as the server name I'll likely be playing the game even less. I'm also disappointed that people would ever feel offended by or uncomfortable with "The Hot Prospect" as the name.
  2. Dear Bioware, The hamster powering the Harbinger server is down. Please replace it asap. Regards, A Harbinger player
  3. What about the other classes? ie. Smuggler. Some of us have been crazy enough to get a base-class to 55, and it feels like there's no love if we can't even qualify to get any rewards.
  4. 1. Ability to play the game without really high pings that makes certain content either an extreme pain or just not doable. I currently have this ability but it's being taken away by Bioware for reasons they refuse to officially state. 2. Legacy-wide bank access from any bank terminal. 3. More legacy unlocks that unlock as you get a certain (high) legacy level rather than literally nearly everything costing credits or cartel coins. 4. Increased XP rates (or the option to turn it on) the more max level characters you have. I don't want to have to go through all those now-incredibly-boring quests at the same pace for the 5th-10th time. Alternatively, permanent or more double XP weeks/weekends or items that result in the same on a character - preferably based on legacy. 5. Fewer character specific legacy perks, with most being moved to being legacy-wide. 6. Ability to upgrade pre-cartel market speeders to be 110% and have the same knock-back resistance. 7. Bioware not outright lying regarding statistics to elements of the SWTOR community, because face it, you're not the only ones collecting data. 8. Heroic space missions all resetting on the same day and all being available on the same day - it ***** me off to no end that they made the way it currently is - whoever made that decisions needs a slap - same for whoever approved it. It is such a disgustingly dodgy way of having people log in more often - it's not as if they're even fun, 9. I may be mistaken about this, but I believe that the proton torpedo tube has been changed to require level 50. If this is the case, change it back - I want to actually be able to do the bonus missions earlier on in those crumby space missions you guys made. If you can still get it at earlier levels, disregard this point. 10. Legacy transportation items - shorter cool downs and unique cool downs (ie. not tied to each other).
  5. Actually, Warhammer had online servers hosted in Australia a few years ago. Just saying.
  6. There is a good solution, one that literally everyone I've talked to and everyone that's talked to people that I've talked to and otherwise the vast majority of players WANTED to happen - merge the 3 APAC servers into one. It's FAR better than this abysmal solution they've come up with. And for reference, you have no evidence to substantiate that Bioware/EA did not know they would opt to go for shutting down the APAC servers, hence claiming that they "obviously" didn't know if false. However, claiming that it appears like a bait and switch is quite valid, as these recent actions and past actions can very easily be construed as being just that. Not saying they were, but it can easily be seen as such (and given EA's past record with telling the truth, far more likely).
  7. Actually, for some services that's exactly how it is - you get credited for the remaining period of the sub. Now, it's generally not (or ever) the case for MMO games, but not everyone will be aware of that.
  8. It was not an information overload. It provided valuable information that was easily accessible. Removing it is just laziness and reflects poorly on Bioware and EA. It's not that hard to get the times for a few time zones and post those up.
  9. Frankly I am absolutely disgusted by this. You seem to not even comprehend in the slightest how much low latency matters to us. And then you seem to invent some rubbish about the population not being high enough even if you merge the APAC servers together? Err, what? Then of course with this, a lot of people will lose character names because you're merging us with a long existing server - cause it's not like any of us are attached to our names, right? I really wish I hadn't read the forums first thing in the morning so I wouldn't start off in a really ****** mood. Thanks for totally screwing us over Bioware.
  10. Thanks for bringing down the servers during prime time on a Friday evening to stop people actually enjoying the game more Bioware. Yet another rubbish and frustrating decision.
  11. I agree. It's frustrating overall, but especially when I don't have time to play on a given day (or for multiple days at a time) and I thus am unable to pick up the weekly for one or more missions that week. What's wrong with someone potentially getting through all the heroics in a single (long) session if that's all they can potentially afford to do?
  12. Eh, personally I'd like an option (so as to allow people who actually enjoy level as is to continue so) to significantly boost XP rates on a per-faction basis if you already have 2+ 50s. Doing all those quests for the 3rd, 4th or 5th time is damn tedious - that one or two word difference per quest does not make it any less painful. A number of friends I've spoken to share this opinion with me.
  13. I'd actually support all those changes - some of them I do really want (ie. shared banks). Personally, I'd also like the family tree to allow more than 2 allies/rivals per character, and the potential for linking it to other players Legacy family trees. Far less important, but I'd still very much like to see it done.
  14. While I personally don't really like the idea of items from the cartel store being outright better than anything otherwise available in the game as a matter of principle, I can see a fairly simple solution which would increase character customisation (as opposed to limiting it, which is one of the things that this reduction to knock-off rates for cartel speeders does) - let crafters - specifically Cybertechs - construct kits which can be applied to ANY vehicle currently in the game to do the following: 1. Bump up the vehicle level - either one level at a time (ie. 90% -> 100% or 110%) or just convert it to be like the cartel vehicles are - so that it scales with your vehicle piloting level. 2. Match the decreased chance to be knocked off speeders that the cartel vehicles will have. This way you not only give Cybertechs some love (which I don't recall them getting since launch really, especially with vehicles), make it so that people can differentiate themselves more (as there's plenty of speeders that aren't 110% speed but are quite nifty), show that you are actually caring for your player base (and not just trying to snatch as many credits as you can from people) and otherwise make me happy (which hey, I care about!). That said, I'd honestly love a robust vehicle system where you can customise various sub-components of vehicles and such, but I realise that that more than likely isn't going to happen tl;dr Share the love with non-cartel vehicles and Cybertechs and you make all the nasty criticism go away. Thoughts?
  15. I've noticed the same, though I did have ONE of them show up (can't remember the name) but not the other that I know I had unlocked.
  16. 4 hours total spent on Taris...maybe 5 actually...my brain refused to put up with that **** after 3 and went afk. Then another 30-50 on Hoth - lucked out with the others - got them within 10-15minutes.
  17. I spent the 1 year anni wondering with friends as to why Bioware/EA decided to put no effort into actually celebrating that the game has been around for a whole year. +2 Early Access Day 1 Vets disappointed
  18. I'm also waiting for a response from the CS team due to this strange lapse in creating an intuitive system and being caught offguard being rather sick lately (ended up with one character with the wrong name and one with that randomly generated garble of characters). Well, waiting for a re-response - first ticket I sent in seemed to get the aye-okay to have the character I misnamed, renamed, but that didn't seem to actually happen (and the ticket was closed), so I sent in another ticket trying to clarify the situation and am still waiting for them to respond (hopefully soonish when the CS staff get into the office). Here's to hoping everything will work out as it should.
  19. The originating server which you want to transfer a character from The Swiftsure The name of a character on that server Antispiral Your specific issues with the form - buttons not available, dropdowns not working, etc No character names are shown at the bottom of the page and the "Request transfers" button does nothing.
