  1. I'm ao sick this stun immuniy timer crap. When the darn game levels out THEN we can look at classes. You nerf this class now because a lot of people play them is the most backward logic I have ever heard because when things settle down and then less people play them, they will be gimp because one or two fools wanted them nerves, Screw that. BHs and Assasins do way more damage and that's a fact. I wish I has the power to ban accounts man. I would start with the nerf whiners. TODAY! Blizzard nerfed hunters everytime some one even hinted at them being op while buffing already op classes like frost mages and paladins (loladins) and I finally just quit because of that garbage. One nerf on my class and I'm gone, I'm sick of this crap.
  2. QFT. But truth sayers have no validity here. Mirite?
  3. Well actually I know alot of people that believed what the spell description says. A "target" is a target, player or otherwise. Perhaps the description should be tweaked. Even another player in this thread referred to it as an interrupt. As far as me needing to research more, I'm not sure how much research you think needs to be done to play a game without getting to much into small details. Most people take descriptions at face value and realistically shouldn't have to do extra "research" to understand what the "real" meaning of the description is. "Standard" or "weak" targets could refer to players that are the same lvl or lower than the caster, it in no way differentiates between npc or actual player. But I applaud your attempt to "pwn a noob". Dont you feel like a bigger man/woman now?
  4. I don't see how it is "best" for interupts, it hardly ever stuns and the stun is conditional, electrocute and others are instant and work everytime.
  5. "Shocks the target for 3558 - 4424 energy damage. Standard and weak targets are additionally stunned for 3 seconds." I assume that a "target" refers to anything that qualifies as a "target". In my experience, it hardly ever procs.
  6. Emersion: The voice overs are excellent. In wow, AoC, swg and rift, I just flashed through the text and really didn't feel the story. The voice dialogue has literally pulled me in. I find myself emotionally linked to my character, loving mentors like Zash (straight sith hotness) and hating many others, oh Faun you lucky bastage, you got off easy!!! I love the ability to control my characters personality and wit with the response choice system, I really get the opportunity to define who my character is. It's really a big part of the game for me. Lore: I really live the story line. Anyone who is an sw fan should be able to really get into this game. I guess a big part of the enjoyment factor is that I know and have knowledge of the story behind the game. In short all im saying is , "hey, it's star wars man!" PvE: The whole companion concept is awesome. Yes it is much like Guild Wars and the hero system but hey, if it's a good idea, use it! I really love the fact that companions can farm and craft for you. It's so neat to be able to send your companion to do things for you while you focus on other things. Bravo on this mechanic! PvP: Yeah, in know there are a lot of people complaining about it but I don't believe most of the complaints are valid. Yes, the fluidity and lag between casts is annoying but can be fixed and will be. I have played other games that were soooooo much worse at launch on soooooo many lvls. This has been a good launch and I don't pay too much hommage to the complainers on this issue. I feel the classes are much more balanced than alot of people are willing to admit and most of the cries have been based on class mechanics and their lack If being able to adapt to and deal with a class based on how they work rather than said class having some kind of unfair advantage. (Snipers are a ranged class, you ignore them, you die... Close the distance and put pressure on them, they fold and are now an non-issue). L2P? Environment: Great! Once again, feels and looks like star wars!! Some things like PvP gear oranization, vendor placement, lag, glitches, bolstering, and all the other issues that SOME people think are so game breaking will be looked at and be fine tuned. I have confidence in that. Generally this has been a great launch and the game is freaking awesome! Pv
  7. I simply have it as a rotation filler. I think it sucks personally BUT I have seen it crit for 1500 or so. It seems to hardly ever stun players though if at all.
  8. What you need to understand is that the majority of the people that post in the forums do not, in fact, represent the majority as a whole. They are usually the same people that post in forums no matter what game they play and they are usually all negative threads. I for one love the pvp in this game so far! There are some things that need to be fine tuned but all in all the game is great and the nay Sayers are just being what they have always been, disgruntled gamers.
