  1. Look. I understand where you coming and you really are giving a very good advice. Many people in life do that "sitting in a piss-filled hole". But I'm not one of those people. Thing is, that all good advices and truths from this world are strickly connected to points of view. Yours is made, I think, with some lacks in information. But hey, I do appreciate you commenting becouse it helps debate the issue, and that is very important from my point of view. So, my main is already out of that hole but it took me a while to be able to do it. Tomb of Freedon Nadd was a good Server, and yes, if you spend a few time out of the game, when you try to return and find an empty Server, you question if the game is dead, that the future isn't very bright, and that you shouldn't waste money on a game that is probably about to suddently end like Galaxies and we'll all end up crying and saying goodbyes in the Fleet while asking "how was this possible for such a game?!". I just don't want to live it again and that's exactly what players who try to return find. You can say that you gave free transfers or 90CC transfers, that it's absolutly unimportant to players and to the agreedment that we made with Bioware. From my point of view, I bought this game. Paid 79,95 € for the Deluxe Version. There wasn't a single Collector Edition Available on Origin or my Country. I subscribed for consecutive periods of 6 months. Yes, it was a bit cheaper, but the intention behind it was for Bioware to be able to evaluate somehow what they could expect from me, as a subscriber and support, for the period of the next 6 months. It was like a working contract. If I wasn't satisfied by the end of it, I would fire them, if I was happy, I would renew the contract for 6 months. It was like this for 2 years and only becouse, when they came to change the Terms of our contract, being them the suplliers and myself the costumer, there was a big speach given here to all of us, there was streams made about the subject, and I felt like I was dealing with serious people that understand their failures and player database. We were promissed that the changes in those Terms would no affect our game. That free transfers would be given, blá blá blá. I was in Leggions of Lettow when they killed it with the "MegaServer" and had to move to Tomb of Freedon Nadd, lose all my guild stuff (wasn't alot at the time, but to invite back 100 players is never easy when many don't even understand what is going on) but all was done in sincrony with Bioware's Costumer Support, becouse even in that operation, there were bugs that created problems that we players had to understand. Again, from my point of view, these problems with Servers are, absolutly, proof that no one's perfect and that even Bioware missed some calculations there. Part of that was becouse of these silence that surrounds though subjects. I had a bug for 6 months, in the most tested character of the game (inquisitor) in the most appealling tree (lightning), at the most important skill of that tree (chainlightning) that would stuck all skill when performing the major effect of that skill (when it gets to be instant) that prevented me from using any skill. They took 6 months, at the time, to address this issue and I had to make alot of noise before anyone picked it up. After that, support was absolutly amazing, did and said things to me that made me feel valuabe as a player. Following all this, I think they don't really realize how much more they lose, from player, from numbers, by insisting on having a feature that doesn't interest the players and prevent them from actually playing the game. Yes, when I payed the game, it was implicit that I would be able to play it, as an MMO, not as a single player adventure as many KOTOR fans wanted. This situation, if taken to a Court of Law, would, for sure, force Bioware to provide the services the charge for at time of sell. You cannot sell a product to someone, change the product afterwards and promise those people that those changes wouldn't affect their game, and 5 years later come say that you had your chance to change Servers at lower fee. I don't care about changing Servers, what I care is that my Server is dead, completly not working and I cannot play or subscribe the game dued to this situation. It happens that I managed a free transfer for my main from one of your referal links last week so I actually know to where to send my chars for them to be back alive, but what about those that, like me before, just want to play the game and not mess their mind around those burocratic stuff?! We paid for it, no matter how long ago, no matter for how long, the least that is required, it that those arregements, those promisses, are fullfilled, and I feel, trully, that I'm being put aside as a second level subscriber, where the solutions they provide me for their failure to fill the Server implies me paying them to fix the problem they couldn't solve, and all I get back is a "You should have", "You could have" answer, but no one is actually pointing the finger in the right direction here. This absolutly reminds me of the flops of the game start and that someone is trying to trow sand into my eyes. This isn't really a fair situation to any player out there and I find funny some come, cold as ice, to say that it's not a problem. Those people say that becouse they are gaining referals for that and becouse it's not happening to them. These, are exactly the same people that at game start came here to dish of the game, that spread the word that the game was unplayable with bugs, that made autentic Blizzard campaigns to discredit the game. Guess what, those people are enjoying the game, as we, the players that supported from the start and have old Chars stuck in old Servers, that supported Bioware though all those storms, are the one's that lost their beloved characters, their items and titles so hardly achieved though hours of group play, things that no one will ever to get back. That, is called giving personallity to your characters, as they advertised, to bring them to life. Now, what Bioware suggests, is that we leave those hard battled characters, with all those hard fought achievments, for an insta-60, that will never replace those years playing with the other chars. And the insta-60's cost 2000CC, so that's not even an option to try to "clone" your game into another Server. So, this is a real problem and a real fault upon the agreement that was established at start and at the moment it change to F2P. I'm not going to Court for a thing like this, I don't need Bioware's money that much, but the sentence inside me is already given and as me, I'm absolutly sure, many are away from the game, waitting for their solution, as many are also playing new chars, but are always hoping for the day they can go get back those lost chars in their dead servers. I think, no one at Bioware wanted this to be like this, they tried to minimize it, but they are stucking too hard to a Cartel Coin concept in transfers and instead of making money with that, they are preventing themselfs from impulse subscribers, from new players that never heard about SWTOR before, and, unlike some, I would really like to see this game go on for many years. I already saw a big mass of players leaving this game dued to bad decisions and unfullfiled promisses and concepts (1.2 Ranked Warzones that wasn't there, rings a bell?!). What I am seeing now is that what they are now ignoring, it's one of the major aspects of the game that is preventing new players to stay, and old players like me, to return. I will not subscribe for 1 char in an active server and 9 in a dead server. I did made a suggestion. Merge or free transfers. This is suggestion box. And I made a civilized question to the person here that has more responsability addressing the players and I am still waitting an answer on this. Like before, I can be patient and wait, or I can make a big fuss about it everywhere. I'm going to be patiente becouse honestly, if Bioware doesn't address this issue, I'll consider them a minor company, from wich I'll never buy a product again, Star Wars or not, simply becouse I cannot trust if the product really is inside the box as advertised. Then, someone better than me, will eventually take care of these offenses, and as before, at some point, a mass of players will come to similar conclusions about their characters and game. Thank you again for your attention.
  2. Well... I'm sorry that you feel that. I'm sure you're glad you're not from Bioware then. And if they feel like you, well, guess I ended up wasting my time and all I lose is faith in those people. As for you, I don't know you. Be happy and spread positivity.
  3. Eric, if you are reading this. What your input on the Tomb of Freedon Nadd - EU situation?! I think you ought to know, that many players that try to return to the game, like me and so many more that you can see in our Server Forum, endup in a dead end between the 1000CC per char transfer, and the emptyness of game content, speacially on our hard fought first day battlemasters, if you know what I mean. I am, tend to be, a subscriber but I wake up in a Server without people. How is Bioware going to fix this or is it true what Dave from Support tells me, that you accept this situation for it being sezonal and due to the next expansion expected affluence?! I heard a few promisses from all of you. During the game development, at game start, at patch 1.2, when F2P came in play... The answer I get from support is that I have to wait almost 2 years to have my family (characters, with legacy, tied and bounded like you designed it to be) to have them all together, or simply spend a fortune to add more coins to my subscription only to be able to play the game as you sold me, as you agreed to me and promissed to me that wouldn't be affected from all those game changes and needs for it to survive. And I supported you, and now, the game is dead to me. I try to press the queue buttons for everything, nothing works. I have all these vanity stuff that I paid with my subscripton complementary coins... you remember why was decided to be called complementary?! Becouse you where trying to balance the table between the expectations you creted on us, and those you were actually able to fullfill. We, I, myself, trusted you, trusted Bioware. I don't have the game I've paid for, and most importantly, is this the Star Wars Experience you desire for your players?! Help improve the game. Merge the Servers, give transfers free for subscribers. You know the state of the game in that chapter. It doesn't really matter if players would jump from Server to Server, you could implement a 30-day timer on transfers and if someone wanted to do it earlier, then they would have to pay. Just like the re-spec system on your first approach to it. Worked just fine for you, and for players. If not, thank you for nothing and for ruining my Star Wars Experience in this game. First two years were amazing in almost everyway.
  4. See Dave from Costumer Support?! See Eric Muso?! Please address this issue! The game is dead over there. You know it! (And the next jerk that comes here to say that no one cares, even though it's been true, remember, PLAYERS care!) EDIT: redggar - Hold on buddy, I'm trying to open their eyes! Help me out! LOL
  5. Excuse me. Are we talking here about a cheap game here?! Writters may be a lot cheaper than Engineers but this kind of Star Wars production has a huge budget compared with any other online game, and if those games work without major issues, so does this game have to. It's an insult to use excuses as "Writters are a lot cheaper than Engineers", we are paying costumers and we deserve respect and attention to our needs. Want to save money?! Open a bank account, not an MMO.
  6. Well... Hello Bioware. I trully hope to see some feedback on this, not just an ignore. So, the 4 important things you have to say about the state of the game is, more warzones, more flashpoints, more operations. No open worldpvp, a dinamic event on the way to give us some little enjoyment, but nothing in the making for pure open world pvp. Test server char transfers, like if that was really our problem, and of course, the most useless thing in the game, SGR. Being a player of this game since day -5, subscriber always, I feel that is time I say something about you attitude and prespective towards your actual level 50 players. 1 - We don't want more Warzones, Flashpoints, Operations, samo samo. We do enjoy what comes from there, but that's not our main concern. Main concern is actually OPEN WORLD PVP. Give rewards and incentive system to player from different fractions when they meet, that's a small step for you, a huge leap for pvp community. As for the pve community, you'll find below a lot of things we all rather have you working on and I'm sure most will subscribe. 2 - We don't want an dinamic event on Illum. Actually, we do want it, but it ends too fast. We want Illum back as it was before, with a purpose to go there and make OPEN WORLD PVP. Concentrating yourself on seasons and warzones it's good, but not suficient to us. 3 - Test server char transfers. We don't care about it. It's all about your interest there. We are willing to help test the updates, but the system to transfer chars is not a priority for us. The priority is for you to open you eyes once and for all and read our requests. Of course some people request char transfers to public test server but.. that only last's while people want to check new content without having to wait. Most of those players don't care much about helping, just following their curiosity. I though your experience with those lame beta testers would teach you something. 4 - Same gender relationships don't add nothing to the game. I respect people that want to, but that actually doesn't improve the overall experience in the game, might even have an unexpected effect if you force players to face same gender relationships situations. In my case, I hope I don't have to be gay to do quests in makeb, and that no alien tries to take a piece of me that isn't burned from lightsabers and blasts. So... what do we want and you should really be concerning?! Simple. A - GUILD SHIPS WITH CHARACTERS HOMES OR ROOMS B - OPEN WORLD PVP - PLANET OR AREA CONTROL C - DECENT NON-MONORAIL SPACEFLIGHT AND COMBAT D - MINIGAMES AS PAAZAK, PODRACING, GLADIATOR ARENAS E - CHAT BUBBLES F - TRUE STAR WARS EXPERIENCE After this statement, I appreciate if something is said about it as I had a 5 years plan to be in this game but if I understand that the current direction of this new people leading the content of Star Wars the Old Republic is the same as before, blindfolded by the samo samo mistakes, than I'll make sure to rip it all off, stop my subscriber status for good, and only visit the game as a poor kids version of a real Star Wars game. It's completly not understandable how after a year reading a community, being inside the game with us all, you still fail to understand the potencial of this game and that you are the one's with the power to fullfill it. And if you are missing creative people there on the works, there are a lot of people in the community with great developing ideas that should have been taken into public consideration by now. If it's true and you lack the knowledge to deal with this game platform, then just admit it and stop pretending you can make anything you want in the game and for once be specific about our actual expectation. nuff said. Best regards.
  7. You do realize of course that the facts you gave go agaisnt you. First of all, they were full WH. You aren't. Reaching cap? 1300 expertise isn't reaching cap, as well 18K health is far from a full augmented full wh player. That said, probably, according to you, half of your team had worse gear than you. To help the party, this was one of your first attempts at ranked warzones. There is pre-season one for a reason. For you to form your team and get a lot of practice. Of course, the other team started first and were better prepared. Had voice communication, granades, gear... the ending was expected. As for the pvp problems you mentioned, all of them are available to both sides. Telling people that pvp is bad and that they shouldn't do ranked warzones is like shooting yourself in the foot and trying to run away afterwards. In fact, the solution on this goes with people gathering up in more active guilds, being part of a team, lose a lot of ranked warzones in the process, and prepare themselfs for the most difficult pvp event available to you in the game. Also, I believe the bubble stun should only affected the caster as before, and that you should be able to queue for normal warzones in 8 peoples teams in order to provide easier setting for the teams to get organized, but that is a entire different issue compared with your post. My saying, just don't go that way. You show little knowledge of the game and your solution are unreasonable. Just do it more. Do it a lot. Ranked warzones, that is, not complaining in the forum or trying to change what is natural to happen.
  8. Although I do agree with the statement that Reps win more warzones, I must say that I have 3 level 50 on the Imperial side and I do finish my weekly on all of them, every single week, and it doesn't take the full week to do it. I believe Reps are more organized, more solidary with each other, not so arrogant in the way they play, and that is a characteristic that comes from all of the "light side" influence. On the other hand, Imps are more selfish and more "chuck norris" becouse of the "dark side" influence. Yes, I believe it goes a little psicological in that matter. Nevertheless, I also have reps chars and although they aren't level 50, I do warzones with them and I do not agree on more noobs on one side then the other, even yesterday I had a voidstar in the Rep side and it was one of the noobest warzones achievements I saw (Like having all the advantage and losing the 3 turrets becouse they were fighting underground, below the middle turret, with a few imps. Amazing.). So... let's just keep growing in aware that imperials need to leave the entire "Darth Maul kill all" thing, specially in pug groups, but also when they think they are very good and do bad strategic choises based on the concept that "I can deal with anything" or "I will concentrate my heals on my guildmate, we are awesome", and start to see the entire team as they are, a team, and instead of killing without helping to kill, start to kill and heal the people that are already engaged in a fight. I see a lot of that in the Rep side, not so much on the Imp side. My 2 cents.
  9. I love the time you spend talking to yourself. And I did enjoy the part when the expertise people had a victory in a poll with 60% but that wasn't important, the important where the 40% of those refusing expertise. And all the tematic around the difference between large and small victories in polls. Like, it 10 people vote, 6 good for expertise, and 4 against it, then the 6 people don't know what they are talking about becouse this is all the mmo they know, ant the other 4 are the true winners of the poll becouse they do know what they are talking about, I mean, they agree with you, obviously. Great structure in that mind. Keep it up.
  10. In case you don't know, stun on breaking bubbles only works on the sorcerer that casted the spell, not on the person with the bubble. So if the sorcerer casts on himseld, when it breaks, you get blinded for a few seconds. If the sorcerer casts on another player and you aren't near of the sorcerer, when it breaks, you won't even know it was a blinding bubble. If the sorcerer casts on all the players, only if you are near the sorcerer you get blinded, so... How can you say that it's a massive stunfest?! I'm a sorcerer from day 1, I tryed to cast on all players to help my teammates so the bubble would protected them and blind their enemies at the end. After many warzones i conclued that Bioware had that all though through and that it was a failed tactic becouse I wouldn't run to everybody hoping that a bubble would break somewhere and my teammates weren't getting any advantage becouse the blind wouldn't work on them when it breaks. So much for a stunfest...
  11. Maybe if people stoped lying about this game, subs would be rising. At the beginning, the game had a few bugs, TERA showed up. A lot of people said that community would give up SWTOR and go to TERA. What happened?! TERA never made it, SWTOR kept going, and the bugs got fixed. Then, it was DIABLO2. SWTOR wouldn't stand a chance against that masterworks! What happened?! DIABLO2 was a flop, SWTOR kept going and improving. All the sudden, the most expected pvp game of the year came up. GUILDWARS 2! Now, for sure, SWTOR didn't had a chance, all the community was going to GW2, SWTOR was good as dead. What happened?! The hype went down and GW2 is dying faster than SWTOR ever did. SWTOR kept going and improving. Now... Query: Why do people keep telling that SWTOR will die?! Statemen: People just go with the hypes and trends. Request: It would do a lot of good to the game and community if you all started to look at the reality of the things. Recitation: If someone sends you to jump off a bridge, will you do it? Addendum: It is unwise to jump from a bridge. Cautionary: Be carefull with what you wish for. Evaluation: This game is great! Enjoy it.
  12. Funny. How could you read the chat with hundreds of people complaining about the same thing?! And how was the conversations?! Someone: They nerfed my operative! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: mine too! Someone: This is so unfair! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: You are right! Someone: And have you seen what they did to my sorcerer healing?! I have no more force power to heal everybody!! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: Same happened to me! It's so unffair! Someone: I'm gonna quit right now this stupid game!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! ... Silence... Someone: Anybody there?! Someone: Yes... I'm just checking my inventory, will unsub in a few minutes. Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! Someone: Me too!! If you think this is a long message, imagine what it would be hundreds of people complaining about the same... I think you are exagerating. There are always those who aren't happy with anything that doesn't make the game easier for them and harder to their opponents. There will always be quitters and losers in life. But there are always and still, those who really enjoy the game, even with time to time changes, even with some ocasional bugs. People are more informed and have more formation these days. Many of us know this isn't an easy game to comply and give room to Bioware to fix it. And guess what. Bioware is fixing things and the game never get's worse. There's a huge future ahead and those losers and quitters, of course, will be the ones losing for quitting.
  13. And there you go again, thinking you are someone to invalidate my opinion. That, and your post comment forseeing the future of this game, makes me laugh so hard man! FYI, I have a job, I am father of two kids (a boy and a girl), and I can asure you that 12 months from now I'll still be in my 6 months subscription. The reason that makes me so sure about it is that, no matter some mistakes Bioware makes, I have more than 2 fingers of a forehead to think on my own and just know that this game is way better than anyother in the market, that Bioware is working just fine as hard as it is to keep this game going, and I agree with a comment there sent to you. Don't let the door hit your arse on your way out. By the way, don't buy other peoples philosophies. This game has nothing to do with WOW, this game is way better than any other available now and in the near future, people DO enjoy and have a lot of fun in it, either doing pvp or pve. Of course, not everybody can be happy, but you probably don't know, most of us, core players, don't get influences as easly as you and we don't serve any twisted agenda to dish this game off by those who can't afford, aren't skilled to play it, don't have the dedication to learn it, or whatever that goes around it. Have a nice life out there.
  14. I know some will crucify me for this but... Have you noticed that there is a specific server group forum dedicated to recruitment?! Get's messy with everything out of the place, specially if there aren't any forum moderators concerned with organizing this stuff and put it in the right place. Sorry.
  15. By who?! You?! Last time I checked, your opinion was worth the same as mine so...
