  1. For the few Americans playing on EU servers? And as I wrote, its just a small thing, and it is not hard to google PDT and start calculating the hours etc, but... If ONE guy at Bioware did that it would save hundreds of thousands of their customers the hassle. Anyway, no biggie, I just find it a bit amusing. Also, I think that UTC is a term the Americans (and probably the French hehe) use for GMT because they don't want the British to get all the credit.
  2. Check this out: European servers... Back up at 9AM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time)... Maybe we have some crazy small country in Europe that runs on PDT, but I doubt it. I know it is a quite insignificant thing, but I just find it funny that BW are totally oblivious of whom they are addressing.
  3. I hear what you say, but just bolster pvp so NiM gear is en par with, lets say, hard mode gear and pvpe'ers would be able to earn comms to buy the HM gear. I really dont understand why there should be this gap between pvp and pve. PvP ,in my opinion, is not about gear but about skill. ♥ Rax
  4. yes, yet another romove expertise thread, but here goes: BW, your pvp/warzones are cool, and I really like to play them. But at 55 it just suckslif you have a new char or have been away from the game for a bit. I used to pvp a lot, and did fairly well before I had to take a break, I come back, my pvp gear is redundant and I have no chance in hell. Also, in world pvp expertise is an unfair advantage. I know I will get a lot of PVP'ers on my back for this, but why should some have and advantage over others? Just give us equal gear for the same amount of time spent playing, QQ Rax
  5. Just remove expertise and let the pve'ers buy "normal" gear with WZ comms. Same rewards for same amount of time spent in game. Sounds pretty fair doesn't it? And if the hardcore pvp'ers still want to be "special" they can perhaps have unique armor sets or something. And perhaps WZ buffs if they really really need a crutch. Tbh if you play a lot of WZs you don't need a crutch to win over pve'ers anyway, you should out maneuver them pretty easy. ♥ Rax

    Open World pvp

That is because open world "pvp" is usually mostly griefers killing lowbies/undergeareds and/or hiding behind, to them, friendly NPCs. (Almost) Nobody thinks that is fun. That is why we need a dedicated WPvP zone again, with some kind of bolster mechanic for the out manned party. This would also make it proper star wars again, as in Republic vs. Empire, and not Everybody vs. Silly Monsters.
  7. And what hinders YOU from queuing up for pvp with some decent guys? I don't get it. I simply don't.
  8. And its not even for HK... HK can't tank, but you might be lucky some Jedi Knight wants his droid geared... Perhaps.
  9. Its the "sprint" skill. I believe if you have gone f2p, you can no longer use it, hehe.
  10. +1 support from Denmark. I have never understood why they have bothered with French and German (of whom most of our generation speaks fine English although they won't admit it) and not Spanish and Russian? Seems very odd.
  11. I space-bared through this thread, I have seen it so many times before.
  12. I am just waiting for the "German Dictator from the 30's and 40's" comment.

    RWZ v NWZ

Well, on my server at least, there is just no reason to do ranked warzones unless you have a full team of WH with all augments and using exotech stims. And then its still not enough because to be truly competitive you have to grind two or three sets to min/max your stats. And in my guild we are only a few with fullWH, hence we just do normal warzones. One could argue that the fastest way to gear up for WH is to do RWZ, but you can't lead people in to 100% sure losses time after time. They will just stop pvp'ing all together. Its even bad enough as it is, where people refuse to do level 50+ WZ but do loads in the 10-49 bracket instead. All that said, the normal level 50 warzones seems failry competitive on my server and pugs now and again even win over a 4-man from some of the better pvp guilds.
  14. Thing is, you don't really have to use your stuns tactically, the resolve bar disappears so fast that it doesn't matter. All you have to do is to wait juuuust a little bit to reapply the stun, for the resolve bar to dip enough that it doesn't turn white.
  15. 8 hours + more is because they have a GAZILLION bugs to fix. Something went wrong with 1.4 and it is only getting worse every day. Man I hope they fix it. Or at leats replace it with some less annoying bugs.
  16. Orange Pixel back! Other than that, more contet for pvp = more bugs, so no thank you.
  17. Another thing I think I have noticed, and I wonder if you guys have as well, is the massive amount of guildless people that are in pvp these days, both in 50 as well as sub 50 pvp? My observation is that if you have to many of these players in your team you are bound to loose as they often have no idea of what they are doing or just not interested in team play. It is not uncommon for these kind of people never to pass the ball or run from a node they are guarding solo. I even see them run the wrong way in Huttball.
  18. Leaps are an utility. Its just a thing Warrior/Knight got. Other classes have stealth, ability to dmg people from afar or some other stuff that I usualy find hugely annoying when I pvp. But in the end, different classes do different things. Oh, and I can agree to some ranged classes get extra range, out of my jump to distance, if I get saber deflect where I can ricochet blasterbolts back at its origin.
  19. 10m is out of melee range = ranger got the upper hand, no? Edit: Oh oh, btw... Ranged classes can use their abilities at melee range, right? Its not like the guns gets scared of the bad bad lightsaber and refuses to shoot, is it?
  20. I get it. You guys think you deserve an ADVANTAGE (repeated several times through the thread) because you are ranged right? You want to stand 50m away and "pew pew pew" all the melee without them being able to reach you? Am I right? As it is now, most ranged classes played well takes quite an effort to be on level terms with and it takes very little if no mistakes and you loose hard to them. I think what we have here, is a serious case of L2P. Oh, and I love how "button smasher" has become a nickname for classes that needs to use a lot of abilities to be played well. Like it is a bad thing to play a difficult class?
