  1. I look forward to meeting this Quinn guy on my Agent. When I find out he once betrayed and tried to murder a Sith, he's gettin' a high five.
  2. Agent: Every single Sith is a psychopath. Bounty Hunter: Bounty Hunting would make for an awfully boring sport. Sinq: A sarcastic and sexy voice can go a long way. Warrior: Continuity is overrated. Knight: It's great being the main character. Smuggler: Please ignore anything after Chapter 1. Trooper: Shepard is often imitated, but never duplicated. Consular: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  3. EC is proof that BW is capable of making interesting single player bosses. Sad that is not really a part of regular game play and is the exception rather than the rule.
  4. Impossible situation. The Wrath would be immediately enamored by the Sorc's suave and/or sultry voice. One whirlwind romance later and we'd have a Monarch & Dr. Mrs. The Monarch situation.
  5. I haven't really seen much in the way of calls for Torian or Vette to return.
  6. Probably the Xalek customization that gets rid of his dopey hood, thus letting you put him into something better than rags.
  7. I could have sworn that for a while there was a bugged Zenith Alliance Alert that was available. Am I imagining it?
  8. If it makes you feel any better, male characters have the "robbing the cradle" problem with a bunch of companions too, but for whatever reason they tend to get way more romance options. Cough. On the plus side, once you get past Chapter 3 you do get a few more romance options available for women. I'd say they're better than most of the vanilla companions but I'm probably not the best to judge (and it's subjective anyway).
  9. To (not) answer your other question, I don't recall how long it takes for them to expire if if they do at all. Might as well grab them and shove them into the bank if you want to keep them.
  10. 2 things: 1. For companions, gear is now 100% cosmetic. You can dress them up in heavy armour, light armour, binkinis, undies, whatever and it'll all be the same. Only minor exception is that they do require a weapon (but the stats don't actually matter). Thus, all companion gear for characters that don't use armour appearances (i.e. Khem Val, Bowdaar, the droids, etc) had their gear mailed to you) you literally cannot slot a chest piece into Khem Val, since it would do nothing. 2. Probably not specific to what you're seeing, but... Lil' Knights of the Fallen Empire spoiler: Hope that helps!
  11. Knight - better than most people assume. You just have to not be stupid about it. If you're going pure darkity dark dark evil, then yeah it comes across as silly. But a Jedi who believes in action over words? Occasionally slips into the ends justifying the means? A lil' militaristic? Works just fine. As the great Vrook Lamar once showed, being a Jedi doesn't mean you can't be an ******e as well. Consular - only dabbled in this but I found the DS too goofy to take seriously. Plus, the Consular's LS lines are so goody goody at heart and the DS lines are so weirdly petty that it seems disjointed if you ever deviate away from pure LS or pure DS. Trooper - works great if you're evil in moderation. You do get a bit of a 'why have you not been fired' if you go pure DS, though. Smuggler - no problems here aside from being forced to work for the common good past Chapter 3 (a trait shared by most DS classes, but Smuggler has it extra bad). Warrior - works just fine as pure evil. Sinq - works just fine as pure evil. A bit disjointed if you dabble in both. Agent - works just fine, but if your agent doesn't at least feel the impact of Chapter 2-3 and be changed by it, then it's a missed opportunity. Hunter - works fine except for, like the Smuggler, you're suddenly forgetting about your greedy ways post Chapter 3. There's the odd throwaway line that "yes you're still getting paid" but it's tough not to feel like a good loyal Imperial citizen despite supposedly being freelance.
  12. All I know is that when my Agent finds out Quinn once betrayed and tried to murder a Sith, he's gettin' a high five.
  13. Changes look fine to me. Curious, though--does this mean snipers lose all vibroknife animations and gunslingers lose the shotgun animations?
  14. To answer my own questions, the Gree droids in TfB do not count.
  15. Could you run through a Terror From Beyond?
  16. I still enjoy raiding with my guild, even if it's old stuff.
  17. I assume this includes relics, ear pieces, weapons, and implants? i.e. things without set bonuses?
  18. Agreed with those that say it's perfectly a-ok for your character to be dealt setbacks or get knocked around. I have no interest in playing a Mary Sue. If it's any consolation, spoiler alert, your character always eventually wins. I don't know of many decent works of fiction where the protagonist is never in trouble.
  19. I do appreciate that he's been answering questions on the changes. Oftentimes we get a few pages of what changes are happening, but then zero responses when people ask for clarifications on things.
  20. OP, it's like you were talkin' my language. Prog raiding = nothing is common for SWTOR. Galactic Conquest has the exact same issue.
  21. Probably not, alas. I always liked the Tython/Korriban flashpoints method as a compromise. The devs get to re-use the same maps, boss mechanics, and overall story structure, but you're fighting the enemy faction each time.
  22. Senya talks a good game about stopping her kids no matter what, but she's consistently been unable to actually do so. It happened with Vaylin, and it happened with Arcann.
  23. In theory Theron is tracking 'em down, but I've long since learned that he's pretty bad at it. Pierce and M1-4X's status were literally being advertised, and it took Theron research to figure it out.
  24. I tell ya, me and my tank were happy from vanilla to Shadow of Revan. Then we met.
