  1. So I feel the OP is suggestions balancing companions around the anticipated difficulty of content. When the developers should be balancing companions around other players. If the difficulty of content is off then balance the content. Also don't call things heroic 2 if you plan to have players solo them.
  2. We've done lots of raiding this week as people set to gear up for hard modes. We'll be looking to start focusing on progressing through the harder content next week. So if you're interested in raiding, and want to get involved in our progression raids, there is no better time than now to join us.
  3. Yes it seems like they gave the exarch the wrong item level the rest of the exarch gear is all 220.
  4. Had lots of fun over the weekend trying to chase last minute achievements. We must have achieved an insane number of dreadtooth kills. Particular thanks to Obi and Ciervo for there insane dedication to the dreadful entity cause. Now time for the leveling party, 65 here we come.
  5. Congratulations to everyone in the guild that contributed to this weeks conquest of Hoth. We managed to score more than the next 4 guilds on the planet combined.

  7. Pax is looking to fill out a couple of slots for a second HM raiding team set to run Mondays and Thursdays currently considering a time of around 8pm EST. Looking specifically for a melee DPS and a healer though all roles welcome to apply.

  10. We've already started raiding in the new expansion and are looking to finalize are raid schedule. The current planned raid times are: Monday 9pm EST Tuesday 7pm EST Thursday 8pm EST We could still use more raiders particularly tanks, though of cause all are welcome to apply.
  11. Pax is planning a +10 fleet datacron run this Sunday 5pm EST. Perfect timing for those characters we've been leveling during the x12 class quest XP boost, before we all get consumed by the expansion and it becomes a "nobody got time for that fool".
  12. Maybe they react differently to color dyes? Anyway yeah its mostly for filler when they start having to repeat the same piece. I could see it being useful for RP to have different parts missing for cybernetics but that would be easily achievable with only a few sets.

  14. Well I'd prefer to have stat gear detached from outfits so we could wear what we wanted and then be able to transfer the stated gear around are legacy. That way you could have different looks for each of the characters and still share the stat gear.

  17. Following on from the recent changes to the background image, it was decided that the header logo could also use a refresh.   18. I'm pleased to announce that Pax's website is no longer exhibiting symptoms of the rahkgoul plague. It is now safe to visit the site without fear of contamination. We are now heading into expansion mode - so come join us on the journey to 60.
  19. That isn't correct. November the 2nd is the deadline for gaining the 7 days of early access. Pre-orders by the 1st December still receive the limited time class quest XP boost, the Grand Statue of Revan and if they don't already have it the First Digital Expansion: Rise of the Hutt Cartel

  21. Well I guess the reason the cap is higher this week is because there are more planets to invade meaning guilds have a much easier time overall of reaching the top 10. So the cap is raised to counter balance that. Of cause the clash with bounty week is unintended as that was suppose to line up with last weeks conquest. I suspect the shift was down to the start of the class quest XP boost. I suspect a lot of people skipped this week.

While I can't say there is a technical reason behind the character limit, all the information held about characters is probably stored per server which is why character transfers weren't straight forward. Therefore limiting the number of characters limits the amount of information each server has to store and probably more importantly query against. That would amount to a technical limitation and why you have a much lower limit than the account wide limit. The 350 character limitation is probably far less based on technical limitations since each added server would add storage capacity. Of cause there are gaming reasons why they would also want to limit the number of characters per server such as unique character names (they've already had to run a purge recently), it also limits maximum auction house sales and crafting output per account.
  24. Credits are the only real limiting factor for me when it comes to updating my various character looks. Of cause its one of the more effective credit drains as I tend to run low on credits from fairly regular switching. With everything else resulting in a positive income of credits they'd need to add other way of reducing surplus credits and that would probably require negative credit gains from raids and warzones so something like adding a cost to purchase gear in addition to the token cost.

Most people would prefer it over not having it but that isn't the choice the company is making they've said its low down on their wall of crazy which implies that they see people would rather have it than not but that they see lots of other things they could add to the game instead. For me I'd prefer they added more ground content like skirmishes, PvE team vs team races and some 24man single encounters.
