  1. Awesome, that's great news. Thanks everyone for the clarification - I've been a bit out of touch with a new family so I am SO glad to be wrong here. Thanks Bioware!
  2. The Answer is no: Awesome, I was misunderstanding, thanks to everyone for clarifying! Yay Bioware! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really hope I'm misunderstanding this so feel free to correct me: So I had two substantial legacies - one on BC, one on Harbi that just got merged together. I had invested a lot in legacy unlocks, decorations, etc. The way these have combined mean that I've just lost a LOT of value. Especially around decorations. Example (fictional) - maybe I forked over a few million credits for a big vehicle sized Sandcrawler on both servers. I could only afford one on each and worked hard to get them. But with the merge I still only have 1. Why did they do this? Why not just combine all asset totals to max? Seems like an unnecessary rip off to me. Or am I totally misreading something here?
  3. Hey, so I think it's awesome to lower the price of ships and components in GSF and to offer some of the other ships to all players. For those of us dedicated GSF people who have sunk heaps of time and credits and Fleet Req into them, how about a bonus? Even just a - here's 5% of all the req you've spent back as a bonus. That's be awesome!
  4. So I’ve been playing since year 1 and this game has held my attention longer than any other game I have ever played. I have invested more in this game in terms of hours, subscriptions and add ons (darn you cartel packs!). Until now. I’m done. And it sucks! I’ve tried everything in the game, I’ve run every story at least twice (each gender, each build). PVP, Starfighter, Ops, FPs, all the stuff. KOTFE added much needed story infusion that kept me going for a long time more – amazing. KOTET hits – amazing story but suddenly…. I’m just DONE! I’m just over the game. And it’s breaking my heart. Why is this happening? How? I LOVE this game and I love the story you’re telling, so why am I done? Maybe it’s because my favourite companions are still inexplicably lost despite everyone in the known galaxy knowing who I am and generally how to find me. But really, I think it’s because I’m done with the mechanics. The expanded class levels are just more of the same and add little to make the mechanics of gameplay or my rotations any more dynamic or interesting and I actually find I can’t even get through KOTET (despite the great story) because I’m just bored of the buttons. I may as well be watching a movie – everything between cutscenes and decisions seems like a tokenistic grind. Sure there are a few candy bits thrown in – walkers, and new interactables. But that has NOTHING to do with my character’s development and none of it is permanent for me to play with. I think it’s time for new classes. Or a revamp of endgame mechanics so that powers take on a new life – something to make the grind through your amazing story telling more interesting for the veterans. It’s a sad day when I look at my favourite character in the load screen and can’t even bring myself to continue his/her journey because… well… buttons seem too redundant. Please SWTOR, give us a new faction with some new classes – maybe Dathomir witches & warriors of a bunch of varieties, or …..well…. SOMETHING! Or maybe better yet, make post 60 powers work in a completely new fashion – combo chains for various epic effects or something to reflect the absolute Epic Kick-*****ery of my character who has literally toppled galactic empires! I know that’s a big ask but one of those two things has to happen for me to keep going. PLEASE! That's not meant as an ultimatum, but a plea. This is one of the best RPGs I've played and does such a great job at living up to the legacy of KOTOR. But a game these days needs longevity like we've never seen before. I trust in your team to be able to solve this - but the answer isn't in 'more of the same'. Sincerely, V PS: The fact that you are keeping me from resolving most of my characters' love interests after two years is totally inexcusable! Do you hate our undeniable love? Do you need a hug? I mean, c'mon!
  5. Bump. And there's another one now that looks... again... identical. Is this a glitch?
  6. Still looking for someone to shed light on the 'twinned' sets above. I've been able to spot the minor variations among all other sets, but those two pairs seem completely identical in very way respectively. Anyone have any ideas? Devs? Dulfy? Anyone?
  7. Like many who like to collect, the plague of the "Series --- Cybernetic Armor" continues. I know some love these and I thought they were cool... for the first few... but 8 sets on and it's starting to feel like a moneygrab/pack filler. I'm not sure if I'm missing something (please educate me if I am), but I can see absolutely NO difference between two pairs of these sets. So... what are the differences between: The Series 510 Cybernetic Armor set VS The Series 615 Cybernetic Armor set? The Series 616 Cybernetic Armor set VS The Series 901 Cybernetic Armor set? Maybe I'm just missing something but I've looked closely on one of my characters and found absolutely NO difference. Is there an effect that I'm missing? Please help me see the difference.
  8. Just looking for input for my next character. I know this can be tough to answer so I'll try to give enough info for your input to be constructive. I will eventually have one of each (one rep side, one imp) but wanted advice as I know NOTHING of either. My Republic will likely be mostly Solo PVE. When I play solo I get bored of repetitive combat so I'm worried about the Gunslinger/sniper. I like dynamic combat that keeps me thinking - either through mobility or situation-based options (When I played CityofHeroes I loved "Blappers", for example). I also love PBAoE/multitarget combat, but I think that might be slim in this Class overall, which is fine. I like self sufficiency and, naturally, I'd like to level quickly so I can enjoy as much game content/storyline as possible. Story is important to me also. Playstyle wise it sounds like I'm leaning toward Scoundrel but I must say a gunslinger looks cool and I love the idea of duel-wielding blasters. Given the progression of Companions and what they bring, does the gunslinger offer enough diversity? Does the Scoundrel offer enough clarity/efficiency? What thoughts/advice do you have for me?
