  1. The new changes coming in 1.1.5 announced today...just wow, its staggering.

     

    Let's make PvP even easier.

     

    Rather than changing their wz group code so that it is more balanced (ie, healers with purge, healers in each group, not 6 healers in a group, etc) they decide to go the easy route and make DoT's not prevent an objective take.

     

    On top of that, warzones remove the need for ilum completely.

     

    On top of that, only four medals matter.

     

    Just WoW.

    Seriously. If you dont blow money respec'ing there is little to spend it on. You will find your quest reward items perfect for levelling, then at 50 there is nothing to buy.

     

    Speeder 2 and speeder 3 are the biggest things to save up for, and as far as speeder 3, the ilum and belsavis dailies make you over 100k per day.

    It resets 1 week after the first time you respec after its last reset.

     

    The other problem is you need the 99800 even if you are due a free one, it just wont charge you. Annoying.

    It has got to be one of the most depressing things I have seen in a MMO in a long time.

     

    Either that is all they know about, in which case they are clueless (because submitted bug tickets get an automated response and an automated deletion), or it is all they are willing to acknowledge.

     

    Anyone who has been playing more than a week could name numerous "issues" not shown there.

     

    And I am not just talking about perception things, ie, such and such a class heals too much, I am talking concrete issues, ie, the sage ability telekenetic moment works best with one point in it and not at all with 3, while the mirror sorc ability works fine.

     

    And there is a huge list for that class comparison alone.

     

    Note to mention issues in the world like the GTN's abysmal state of affairs (show only items I can use doesnt work, etc).

     

    Its sad. Fix this communication gap Bioware.

  5. I gave 31 tk another run yesterday for several hours of wz'ing.

     

    Its still unviable, even with my now substantially better gear (mostly bm)

     

    Like is said above, you get no advantage to planting yourself, other than being an easy target, or having low dps because you need to keep moving to break LoS or escape.

     

    Plus, turbulence is awful, for a 31 pt ability, even if it auto crits, its still < 3k hit.

     

    Meanwhile, some of the tank dps specks have 5k+ crit sweeps, shrug.

     

    If 31 TK is meant to be our mainstay, then it needs some serious love.

     

    Hell, put it all at 26 pts+, so you cant get 16 pts leftover, then its even balanced because noone can get PoM, but let there be things like the buff the turret ranged get in rift, where they drop a ring on the ground they stand in.

  6. My Surge value of 294 went from providing 34.7 % critical multiplier to 25.1% critical multiplier.

     

    Salvation crit ticks for ~50 less per crit tic

     

    With a surge value of 342 it went from 37.44% to 26.36%

  7. Super important too is makng sure your companion of choice is in the best gear possible.

     

    You can do it with Theran, he helps a ton with the mez, or Ire if you need a solid tank, and of course nadia melts through weaker groups.

     

    But keep your comps geared well, it is a huge difference.

  8. Do we even have a dev assigned to us? Why don't we have community reps that have a direct line to the associated devs? This can be someone mature with a long subscription that can present validated issues.

     

    I.E.

    These are HARD bugs that need some sort of response: (collated from threads and experience)

     

    Shock deals instant dmg, Project is delayed and will not land if a target stealths during the cast. Numerous times this has made the diffeerent in preventing a cap for me, or in getting prevented if attacked by a Sorc.

  9. I have about zero chance unless its a new 50 Op who doenst know his rotations well and is undergeared.

     

    Have an Op on the other side that told me they didnt get nerfed, they got buffed. They are made about losing armor penetration because that makes heavies tough.

     

    But, their opener from stealth that knocks you down doesnt fill resolve anymore. This in effect gives them 5.5 seconds of stun. Then of course they vanish and when you try to get distance or heal, open up on you again.

     

    I have good gear, mix of BM and columi, and 16.8k hp self buffed, but it doesnt matter.

     

    They interrupt, stun, and when hitting, hit for 2-3K each hit. It is rare I see him hit for 700.

     

    Anyone found a good sequence to use against them?
