  1. Just got home, still patching, how will this affect being able to complete the All for One achievement (soloing H2 Star fortress without computer buff at the beginning and the alliance container abilities). I have not tried it yet but I assume this was supposed be able to be done by character with a comp at a reasonable influence level, now I feel you are going to need full 216+ gear with a 50 influence comp.
  2. Two changes that help along with 12x XP. one all mods are now 2comms each (including armorings, barrels, and hilts) two 12comms per completed story mission. keeps this in mind. it used to take 95 comms to completely upgrade all of the mods in your gear (assuming you had all 9 slots filled with gear that could have mods swapped out). Now that number has dropped to 50. so for the old price of upgrading your character you can now do your character and most of your companion. Also since basic comms are basically useless at 60 now (6 pieces of 190 gear for free) all the comms you earn from doing SoR can go to your next character . by the fall if you are a sub. You could have all your character slots filled with 60s in 190 gear, for minimal amount of effort. If only they would just put a 186 weapon on the basic vendor...A guy can dream though.
  3. If memory serves, I completed this part of the quest with vette as an immortal specced Juggernaught tank, I jumped in and smacked Draagh (or however the hell you spell it) got as much agro as possible, with backhand, force scream, and crushing blow, and preceded to kite him while vette smashed the crap out of him with missiles and bullets. I would cycle my taunts, backhand and force scream crushing blow everytime i was close enough to hit him but most of the time i was kiting him around the room. If you happen to be a biochemist, it makes the fight a little easier if you have a reusable medpac near your level. If not then pick up some normal medpacs at the medical droid. The fight can last a while so you will use the medpac several times.
  4. If you are really worried about stuff taking too long for the ilum/Belsavis dailies, if you are imp go do boarding party, 30 minutes =50k. Also the Tatooine daily heroics. 1 hour and about 75k in cash. Both of these items can be done with a dps pet to make it go faster as the enemies will not be able to hurt you that badly, if at all. Also learn your GTN, find out what sells for a lot of money (e.g. Crafting materials) there are always people making alts that don't want to spend the time leveling a gathering profession.
  5. 1. Cast Emergency Fleet Pass 2. Yell for group in General 3. ???? 4. Profit Am I doing it right? seriously though, all of the instances except for the two ilum based ones are in the imperial or replublic fleets. Just go there. If you have not a lot of people in the fleet space station it is a matter of server population at that point.
  6. I read somewhere that they modeled the assassin after Darth Maul. If i remember correctly, he wasn't wearing a robe or a skirt but rather baggy looking pants. Even Count Dooku wore pants. The only skirt wearer in the movies was Darth Sidious. Assassins and Sorcerers for Pants!.

  8. What really annoys me about this is that we see two assumed high level Sith Inquistors in the movies (Darth Maul and Darth Sidious) and what do they wear, Black flowing robes, no cowheads no large pokey bits, just black sinister looking robes. There is something to be said about minimalist costuming, the Bioware team should take a lesson from this.
  9. ^ What he said And synthweaving i believe is underworld trading for the fabrics needed
  10. To all the haters out there, lets not forget the ridiculous bugs that reared their ugly head within the first 6 months of WoW. I was on the Stormrage server and in the beginning there were nights were the game was completely unplayable due to server lag (there were nights where my ping would be steadily over 1000, before you all say it was me, it was the server and was verified). The ability to stay in game and actually do stuff in game far exceeds small bugs here or there, and for a newbie in the MMO community, Bioware is doing an excellent job. Good job so far Bioware *salute* Just please fix my quests on ilum, going to a box and having it say this object is busy when there is clearly no one around is a little frustrating, thankfully it is not part of the quest line that unlocks the dailies.
  11. It is alot of mats and craft time, but if you are not raiding that day just send out five of your pets (robot included) and keep one around for you to quest with. Also crafting still happens while you are logged off, so if you are done for the night, start the craft and it will be there when you log back in. I am not defending Bioware on this and having BoE top end gear will help the economy quite a bit but they also took an example from WoW, if you remember back in BC of WoW some of the top end weapons for Blacksmithing were BoP and even required BoP materials from dungeons. This is nothing new to the MMO community, it just sucks that one of the two viable tradeskills post leveling has BoP only stuff.
  12. Keep in mind that gathering skills do more than make money. If you want to get a shortcut directly to bosses in the flashpoints you can slice elevators to bypass 10+ minutes of trash clearing. I have personally used archaeology to bypass trash, and a friend of mine used scavenging to do the same. The gathering skills do much more than people realize and are only in it for the money. I was on the slicing band wagon myself but I decided to go back to treasure hunting so that I can make my own Artifice blues and purples and sell extra stuff on the GTN.
