This is completely wrong. In a financial perspective it is extremely wrong to cater to only 1% of your game population. Bioware shouldn't listen to these forums at all, and instead evaluate focus groups which represents the casual majority of this game.

Do this bioware! Don't piss off your customers anymore for the sake of marketing purposes.

This is just a marketing scheme. EA will go out and say that they had the smootest launch ever. I hope it backlashes them and media reports how they pissed 80% of their customer base during launch with very long queues (24hr and counting).

Any RPer that opens up a character in RP-PVP server deserves what he/she's going to get.
