  2. I play a Miraluka Bounty Hunter and Assassin, granted I only like the one mask all the rest are pretty bad. Can't say I've ever seen anyone playing Mirialan though.
  3. That's not true I went back to playing US servers and would rather stay there then go back to the australian servers were in the future population may fall back down. At least on a other regions servers there's a little more hope for having a steady population in the future. Even with 290ping its really not unbearable. Not to mention anyone who rerolled on another regions server to play again might have leveled up and joined a guild or started playing with friends and wants all there characters to be on one spot. I'd really like the option to move back to the US servers. Merging the servers is the way to go but give people the option to transfer if they want to.
  4. The shadow strike ability they put on the Dread guard assassins in Section X for Sins/Shadows.
  5. I did notice he stopped drop anything but money after about 3 kills, another workaround is play a pvp round I came back after one and looted the supreme robe 1st kill.

  7. Hey, So I've played a a tank since launch and left for a while after coming back recently I decided I'd give deception a go and really enjoyed it. I'd just like to know what would be the amount to aim for with each stat I play in deception spec for PVP. And also What stats would be viable for ops if i were to play madness spec. (Surge, Power, Willpower, Etc) Thanks in advance.

  9. Cause i'am really going to have a screenshot of my aoe blasting a group of people. That's the problem with the internet people just refuse to trust a person word. Not my problem it doesn't affect me either way I shouldn't have got a 5k hit as tank. I don't know how it happened or what caused it iam just saying it how it happened from what I saw on my screen i pressed discharge and got my first 5k medal.

  11. Iam not going to debate this with you I know nothing about the mechanics iam just saying what happened if you choose not to believe I wear full tank gear that's your problem.
  12. Because you know everything right. I didn't know that thanks for clearing that up, I just lept on the most logically answer to getting it i've only done it once.
  13. Personally i've hit a 5k discharge (Hit 7 people at the same time giving me the 5k medal) and iam running a tank with full tank gear. So it's really no surprise seeing a 7k shock from a someone playing dps.
  14. Operatives have the same ability and that's all it is a ability that has a 3minute cool down. (Down to a 2min cool down if skilled into if memory serves might be 2:15). There's nothing wrong with it and its easily broken if the assassin in question doesn't pop force shroud making it impossible to break the stealth with dots or aoe. Its hardly a unfair advantage. No it doesn't the ability "Force shroud" does that which has a 45second cool down. If thats on cool down good luck trying to get into stealth with all the aoe and dots flying around. Maybe you should learn the abilities before jumping to conclusions of what they do.
  15. 1) Huttball 2) Voidstar 3) Civil War 4) Novanre coast Reason why civil war and the coast one are at the bottom is because of the sheer repetitiveness and running back and forward between two caps fighting its extremely boring. As for the coast I only really hate it because of the stupid sit in the corner caps that people do its so cheap you don't even have to fight to win as long as your in the corner.
  16. I don't know where your getting the idea that Assassins/shadows have multiple knock-backs. We only have one knock-back which is overload which has a 20second cool down. As for stuns there's Electrocute which is the basic 4second stun, correct me if iam wrong but every single class has one of these. Then there's the whirlwind which breaks on damage (if it doesn't bug..). Also mind-trap which can only be used from stealth on players outside of combat. I don't believe the Tank tree should be able to use the whirlwind personally. Now you mentioned draw backs to picking a roll the drawbacks are still there. Assassins/Shadows on the tank tree struggle to kill healers alone (With Exception to Sages/Sorcerers there so squishy) or if the healer is just terrible. I can't kill a Operative healer personally and i couldn't beat Merc healers prior to there nerf cant recall fighting one recently to give my input on it now though. (Might be a l2p issue but i doubt it they out-heal everything i can dish out). I'am not sure if your complaining about the DPS spec's in this thread but honestly they seem to have only a fraction more survivability then Sages/Sorcerers. I haven't seen them kill tanks alone (Again not saying it doesn't happen just from what i've personally witnessed). Onto the the bit about immune to all attacks again not true, force shroud (Unsure of the name of the shadows ability) only gives immunity to force/tech attacks for 3seconds (Unless tank spec'd which grants 5seconds) you can still be damaged by other attacks (Forgive me for not knowing which ones you need) Self-Healing really isn't that much of a problem if people bothered to interupt/knockback though i think it should be harder to get stacks of harnessed darkness at the moment you can do it to fast (Shock+Wither+Shock) if it took longer to get 3 stacks then the self healing force lightning would be brought down to par. Overcharged Saber (Unsure of Republic Name) which heals for 10% has a 2min cool down and to me seems fine. Speed boost which has a 30second cool down (20seconds if Skilled into) I don't see how this is unbalanced? Sith Warriors/Jedi Knights have force charge on a 15second cool down and Troopers/Bounty Hunters (Powertech Tank Spec/Unsure of trooper tank spec's name) have there jet charge and republic equivalent also on a 15second cool down. It seems to be like both those classes and there mirrors have a much better ability on a lower cool down. And finally stealth, i defiantly agree that TANK spec'd assassins/shadows should not have access to stealth or should get it but have huge disadvantage (Maybe something like a force drain whenever in stealth unable to regain while in stealth)

  19. No that talent is in the madness tree and i still get this effect running darkness with no points into that particular skill. Also forgot to mention this happens in PvP i haven't experienced it in PvE, not sure why the thread was moved.

  21. Sounds like force shroud. Tank specced get 5 seconds though.
  22. I'd expect Kaleesh. There shown to speak basic through the game, the SI gets one for a companion so there's already the ability to wear armour.
  23. Has anyone noticed that if a Assassin whirlwinds you and you take damage the CC doesn't break? I'am not sure if this is intended but the abilities description still states damage will end the effect prematurely. From what I recall there's no skill in any of the tree's that allow whirlwind to do this, so is it a bug or intentional? It seems unfair to me being able to stun someone for 10sec (Eletrocute+Whirlwind) and them still being able to take damage. This is not a QQ thread its a discussion thread.
  24. I doubt that would work, all we would have to do is toss a guard up and we'd get the 5% damage back from our armours ability.
  25. There brought up because there relevant, just because you haven't experienced it doesn't mean its not a issue.
