  1. Fair point indeed, but any payments made in anticipation of the expansion is fair enough.
  2. This should never be the mentality of any MMO developer. It should always be that this game is and always be for the players. An MMO that is not community driven is not an MMO at all. You transfer ownership when you go live.
  3. Sometimes the simplest counter-argument is the best. I know I didn't expect lego-swtor as the new 3.0 when I pre-ordered the expansion. But hey.
  4. I am fully aware of the changes between preCU, CU and NGE. I have also said that I realise this isn't as extreme. I had always hoped that SWTOR would become more complex and allow for more options in templates. I like mixing up my template, choosing which stats to put points into and trying to think outside the box. The new system now says instead of maybe combining a few aspects of sub classes with my primary choice I am only one thing and that is it. It's just boring, I don't want to be told outright what I am. There has to be some kind of freedom even if it's a small amount for me to think I'm actually choosing a role. It should always be that an idiot can royally ruin their template, if you remove that possibility all you really have is a game made for *******es. Whatever, yeah it still essentially plays the same I just feel that Bioware used to represent roleplaying, they now have zero interest in the genre and it's just sad.
  5. Well it is really. You think you can invest money into playing the game the way you're accustomed to but then the game you're playing drastically changes. The freedom to swap and change to a degree changes, the game you think you're playing is actually drastically different to the one you thought you were sinking money into and isn't that game any more. It's not actually the game you would have put that money into if you had known they were going to cop out alienate you. I'm sure they've probably covered their asses in the T&C tbh but no it isn't morally right. I've already been blasted by another forum member being told I don't know what the NGE was, because in truth it's not anywhere near as extreme but it is definitely the same sh**ty practice except there are some people are in favour this time. I positively hate what they've done removing skill trees. I'm just lucky that all my cartel purchases have mainly been through the sub 500 points a month thing. If I'd have paid money into it more I'd be pissed atm I'll be honest.
  6. Okay it's not quite as extreme but it's still pretty annoying, the game needed more intricacies, not less.
  7. Just saying... You've put an NGE in the NGE's NGE and taken the DAI philosophy of removing the RPG from the RPG. I mean guys, ***?
  8. Guys I'm with you on the lack of new items on the vendor. The only thing I have that shows off the collector's edition atm is the trooper armour and instead of seeing more items appear on the vendor I can't help but think we'll see the existing items on the cartel market at some point. Just saying, I could well be wrong.

Ello fellow Chimaerians Off to Ahto City for me on the Imperial side. If anybody is subbed to SWG atm there's gonna be a mass suicide in Eisley on Thursday I believe.
