I agree with this! People are not tired of the wow game play, they are tired of the sotry and classes. We just want wow with a new env, classes and story... the rest shale be the same!

It is not just don't like don't play, if you like the IP. for Bioware have surely made an agreement with Lucasart that the will not allow another SW MMO for at least another 8-10 years! So not only have then taken our money and given us a half *** product, they have also ensured that there will not be release a good SW MMO for the next 10 year. I see the fanboys as the trolls, people whom you call "haters" are people who want to love this game, and see what is wrong and how it can be fixed, but the fanboys is perfectly content with a half *** product, and will therefore ensure that other people will not get a good game!

i have now been level 48 for 5 days, just can't get my self to do another quest! i have tryed logging in a few times, but find my self standing in the imp. fleet for around 10 min before i log out again. I must sadly see that i will never hit level 50! I unsubscribed 4/1 and today was the game files removed from my computer. Sad to see it, this game could have been great, but it fell short from the finish line by a few miles!

I used to play Wow, I like it, and got bored of it! But it was not wow itself, the game mechanics and so are GREAT, for me is it just time for new classes new environment and stories. I think they should have copied wow even more, and as I programmer and a Master of Computer Science am I sad to see that they do not allow addons, as that is about 80% of the fun for me! There are a reson wow was a success, and still is! We would be stupid to overlook that! And to the people comparing the wow launch with swtor launch. Remember that the wow launch and Duke Nukem 3d launch is closer to each other, then wow and swtor! We expect new games to be better, or else would we all still be playing pac-man!

Are you using the Task Manager? You know, if you where running winamp, Internet Explorer or Firefox etc. will it use the others cores, that is why you are seeing all your cores being used!

And do you think that most people have 40 alts like you? no most people have 0 alts at this point, and most people are nearing level 50. That is why you are seeing more and more posts in here. What most of the people complaining about people complaining don’t understand, is that the people who take their time to go in to this forum and post about it, instead of just leaving, are the ones that love the game the most! It is like a father/mother, that sees what his son can become, and tells him how he can do thing better and what he is doing wrong. As we have the father/mother there help their children become a better person, are there also the father/mother who just protects his child for everything and tells no matter how poorly the child preform that he is the best in the world. I to love this game and I want it to succeed, and like you did I not see much wrong with it till around level 30. Sure there where the UI and stuff. But as you adventure pass level 30 will the mobs get hard, so you will need to perform better to survive and this is where the ability delay comes in! I have died so many times because the game just refused to target my companion, or to preform my shield spell on it. The worlds also get more and more linier and the world itself becomes bigger and bigger, this result is the feeling that you are just running on the path that BW put out for you and there are no exploration. And as the world’s get bigger and bigger, the shards keep the same size will you feel more and more alone in the game, and hence dose the MMO feeling go away. Once you come past level 30 will you as well start noticing more and more bugs. The story of my class SI, was also good till around level 30, where they suddenly thought. **** we need to keep this story going for another 20 level, and the story just went complete haywire (I won’t give examples as it will ruin it for people who are yet to play SI). And after this dose the attraction of all the quests suddenly disappear, and you will find it harder and harder to log in on your character and level. (I only like the Sorc calss, so I have not played the other classe, but I hear the same story from people playing other classes)

How slow do you level? i was first invited on December 15, my birthday so i could not play that day, from then 18-27 where my family here, on visit form the other side of the planet so i got at max 10 hours play times during that time. I have moved between Christmas and new year, witch ment i was unable to play for 2 days, and then was there new year + the day after where i was unable to play. I have done EVERY mission + bonus missions, i have NEVER skipped in a conversation, i have enjoyed all the voice action i could. And i play an average of 3-4 hours the days i can. Right now, am i level 47, about 10% from 48, and i have valor rank 10. *** have you been doing, since you are only level 30? Do you have 40 alts or something?

I have been in a few MMO launches so far, an every time do people shout “It is still beta”, “It just released”, “It is only 2 months old” and constant refer to the golden patch that is right around the corner. I think people who say this is so much in love with the thought of the perfect game that they are in denial. This games is lacking some very serious basic features, but what I am afraid of is that this will never be added, as this take a long time to make, and they have to dig deep into the code to correct/add it, and will therefor never happen, because a large percentage, can live with it right now, but if they lack behind on game content will it be a quick game killer, instead of a slow decay! I just hate when people say “WOW didn’t have this and that at launch, so why should this game?”, think about it people! WOW was launches almost a decade ago! The difference in time between SWTOR and WOW launches is greater than Duke Nukem 3D and WOW! If people had thought like this would we all still be playing Pac-Man. I would love for this game to succeed, but I sadly think it is to late already! Things will get polished, but nothing basic in the game play will be changes from now on!

San Diego, CA What servers are you guys joining?

Hello there, i moved to San Diego, CA 6 months ago from Denmark, and are to say here for a long time, so i will be joining a west coast server. But i have problems figuring out which one. Back in Denmark do we normally try to collect all the danish people on 1 server, or i follow my guild or friends. But i don't have any friends over here who play swtor, and i can find no indication of what server southern California is trying to group on. Do any 1 have a suggestion to which server i should select?
