  1. My personal favorite is the Smuggler. The satisfaction I got from the end of chapter one felt better than the death of Game of Thrones villains. Flirting with every girl, one liners that Alan Alda would be proud of and the best awkward situations to get out of. My list is based on my enjoyment of the Chapters 1-3 vanilla game: Smuggler (played a chauvanist/flirt/con artist) Consular (played a investigative loreseeker) Bounty Hunter (embarrassed anyone and everyone, also being a thug) Inquisitior (it's amazing how often lightning comes up in conversation) Trooper (I'm ex-military, the language and non-language made it amazing) Agent (first 2 chapters are worthy of a Tom Clancy book, 3rd not so much) Warrior (Is it wrong I could predict the ending of the storyline before I left Korriban?)
  2. SWtoR will not last forever. Not to be ominous but your time spent in this game is for the here and now. SWtoR will not be like the movies, lasting decades and still loved and watched by adoring fans. Maybe it's just me, maybe I've been jaded by years of playing my favorite game franchises. I don't look at whether or not a game is 'immersive' or 'truthful' to the IP, I look at what entertainment I get from playing a game. If I get no entertainment, I do not play, watch, or give money to support things that ask that support from me. As a paying customer, the OP reserves the right to voice his displeasure or agreement with the product he is using, even if I think his reasons are petty.
  3. The stream has been disturbed by the disturbance in the force...
  4. This is my personal rank system of stories I enjoyed and I'm damned picky about my storys: 1) Smuggler; not the most epic of stories but finding all the one line quotes was worth even a subscription 2) Inquisitor; seeking the darker secrets of the galaxy is fun 3) Agent; this one is the most relatable to players because of its real world comparisons, it unfortunately has too many plot holes to make the top of my list 4) Knight; it's a cliche story of a hero but never disappoints along the journey or the ending 5) Trooper; ex-military myself, I found this story to be very accurate when describing a soldier and how much their hands can be tied. It also renewed my hate of red tape in the political system. 6) Bounty Hunter; wanna be a bad*****, they play this class 7) Consular; didn't know what to expect of this one, it wore and tore a bit on me and the ending had a great moment of seeing a spider web of plots intertwine. 8) Warrior; rather boring as this toon had no real amazing moment, he acted bored and the character (male and female) was not very interesting at all. And get used to be alone with this one
  5. 1 ) Your favorite feature of swtor. 2) The one feature you hate in swtor. 3) One feature you want added to swtor. 4) One feature you want taken out of swtor I'll answer my questions first: 1) Soloable instances; Part of the Revan expansion contains flashpoints that can be soloed albeit with less rewards. Still for players like me who enjoy the story more than grinding gear this is a welcome treat. 2) Raiding; Let me start with that I've raided in other mmos (haven't we all) and swtor's raids have generated very little interest for me. I think maybe one raid since release has amazed me. 3) Credits = Cartel Coins; Hearkening back to my lotro days, their f2p system does allow (with enough grinding) to generate points to spend in their store. Allowing a way to do this in swtor without having to fork over a credit card would be great. 4) Load Screens; This is something that has bugged me about this game. With so many cutscenes from this game why not instead of looking at a loading bar, you can watch screenshots or cinematics from your adventures in the game. I'm eager to see others responses and ideas from this
  6. Dear EA/BioWare (or whoever gives a hoot), Is it possible to take the initiative on your own to look at warzones and observe player behavior and actions while in the warzone. Just today I ran a few warzones to try to get some gear on my trooper this late in the season and my team won once in 7 warzones, barely sqeaking out that win. The other warzones contained so many overgeared or suspicious players that warzones will become a archaic form of pvp for me. Gear discrepancy is also obscene right now that if I was any other type of player I would quit ever trying to pvp. Instead of putting a bandaid on this wound that clearly a large portion of your player base cares about, a revamp of how players are matched up would be incredible. Maybe even a cross server implementation for those servers who struggle with pvp player numbers.. I care about this game and want it to be better, the new expansion is quite impressive and well worth the money. If the pvp scenario had the same care and dedication that the story is given, we would all benefit. It shouldn't be too hard to revamp the pvp, since talents are changed or streamlined to be more helpful to the player. Why can't the environment be changed too?
  7. This is your father's lightsaber, sorry it's BoP to him since he is still alive. It's over Anakin. I have the high ground! You're right, we will meet again when I have the advantage. I can't it's impossible. Failed you have. Done training you am I. He told me you killed my father. Yes I did. Vader release him! *chokes Tarkin* Where is Padme? Is she alive? Yes, Obi-wan took her so that she could give birth to your twins. What are some lines that you think could change the Star Wars universe differently?

    New Ilum request

Title says it all. Warzones are a nice distraction from other events ingame, but they fail ultimately in my eyes to fill a need that has been satisfied in other mmo's. A true pvp zone like Ilum was great: open objectives, spawn camping, real battlefield warfare. Even if it was a qued instance, another Ilum-like zone would be welcome by pvp fans everywhere; no quests, just straight up open/random pvp. I'm sure with the war between the two factions at full throttle that storming the same beachhead or playing for the hutts entertainment doesn't progress either sides victory. With world pvp at a low point a strong showing by creating a zone that players can ffa and even be outnumbered, I think can change the dynamic of pvp for the better. Not saying that there should be a copy/paste of another games pvp zones, but this good 'ol small time warzones can only provide so much satisfaction to pvpers who in my experience always feel left out when it comes to shiny content. TL;DR....bigger content, not more content for pvpers.
  9. That just means there will be new end game players!!
  10. You play this game way too much! I suggest playing other games as well so that you never get to the point you just described.
  11. They understand that people are like pack rats. We travel in groups and like to collect stuff. Why not oblige us then?
  12. As much as i want that too, it will never happen. Money has been lost by companies who did this in the past.
  13. You do know how many servers are still locked right?
  14. I don't want to say it but you're leaving this game will probably be a boon, since such negativity chases away more subs than it gains.
  15. I'm only going on what I've seen in other f2p mmorpg's. LotRO, DDO, and others all have structured f2p ingame stores that you earn points (cartel coins) to purchase new content or mounts. Frivolous items that don't make this a pay to win store system. Also expansions will always be bought, p2p or not. The content patches you will probably haveto buy if you're not subbed.
