  1. to little to late, followed this game for a very long time, played the beta, hit the ground running. Then you hit the wall that is disappointment. Gonna go play pacman, or perhaps tetris... shesh ^ so true
  2. you could also make it F2P while your at it:)
  3. Move-able/adjustable background frames with various designs, extra action bars, and more cow bell.
  4. I take it you have the "in" on what happens within Bioware? Charging customers for something that is not their fault equals bad business sense. I don't know if they will or not, but to just say flat out that they will? You are a silly silly man. The answer is communication, that is all anyone is asking for. It is simple, quick, and can alleviate a lot of the complaints coming from this issue. Interestingly enough they have put out a little information. Had to dig a little, but it is something at least. *shrugs*. (still no excuse to be so painfully absent on the forums however)
  5. Totally unrelated to the issue of transfers, but it shows that their customer service issue is completely deep seeded. I had an issue with a bug they have known about for a while now. I fell off the Balloon in the Dune Sea half way through the trip because I bugged out. They responded to me saying that they know about the bug, and there is nothing they will do for me. My first thought on that is that, while yes they responded quickly, there was a total lack of care on their part about this annoying issue effecting their players. The second part is that they expect people to just deal with the issue, attempting whatever it may be over again, with the hope that you may get lucky. Not sure about anyone else, but I read into this as being a disconnect from their customers. This is across the board too, so how could we the customers, expect anything else? wow really? lol... I too just decided to "deal" with it, I re-rolled and got rid of the clutter of having toons on separate servers. First off, we have no idea what they will even offer, if anything at all. Secondly, we could hope that all the items, credits, and experience (both xp and Legacy) would also transfer, but they have said NOTHING about this. So good for you, you took one for the team, and were able to get over the annoyance of having to re-roll to another server, I am utterly impressed at your resolve.
  6. This game is well on its way to being F2P, they have plenty of great ideas/systems, but unless they work on their terrible customer service attitude of "sorry that happened to you, we really don't care" then I highly doubt they will retain to many customers.
  7. They really need to take a step back, assess what is really going on and get back to basics with the community. Being removed from your fans is one thing, but your customers? At any rate, I did end up re-rolling, and now I just find myself rather sickened about having to play through the same story line all over again. It is a little more then tedious, borders on just plain obnoxious. I am quickly loosing interest, and I honestly couldn't care less about what they do anymore. *shrugs*
  8. That has been my greatest annoyance at how this, and other issues I have had, have been handled. I usually don't rock the boat, and cause a scene, but the complete lack of information, and what looks like blatant disregard to their customers in the US has gotten under my skin just a tad. I have been a huge Bioware fan ever since Baulder's Gate, I have enjoyed nearly every title they have put out (with the exception of one or two), and had great respect for their business practices pre-EA. (but that is another rant all together). Sadly I have seen nothing but inconsistency in the way they act towards their customers. I just feel like I am dealing with a computer instead of a human being, or worse yet, Blizzard Customer Service. Anyway,, we are not asking for a lot, just communication. Even if its a "Nope not today" every day until it happens. Nothing at all though? really?
  9. I deleted all the characters, sick of waiting on them to do whatever it is they are doing. 6 characters in all, ranging from 16 - 31. A lot of time wasted, thanks for nothing Bioware.
  10. so true, its more or less a slap in the face. Sort of like the first two months being plagued by seriously bad lag, community came up with a temporary fix because they were all but ignoring the people with the issue, then they would keep suppressing any posts that suggested the fix. I am beginning to get fed up with BW, they just are not the same company they were 14 years ago.
  11. initial transfers should be free, if not all. The only reason (beyond greed) for charging for this service is to keep people from being willy-nilly about transferring their characters on a regular basis. Most people didn't actually choose the server they were placed on, but instead had it chosen for them because of the guild they were/are attached to. The guild my Main was in is all but dead, I am the last person who even plays anymore. The guild I am in on my other server has anywhere from 10 - 100 active daily.
  12. I have all but stopped playing my main who is stuck on a server. another month of game time, and loosing interest fast, I would just like to feel confident that all the game's ducks are in a row, and be able to enjoy my characters. *shrugs*
  13. So any word on when you will be allowing anyone other then Asia province to transfer? I would love to know if I could at least expect it or not, my main is sitting all alone on a server that I am not going to invest in any longer.
