    I think that, if anything, this community has proven that no matter what you give them, no matter how useless or valuable it is, Bioware can't seem to ever get a GG.

     

    Pets? "I don't want stupid pets"

    Coins? "Why so little?" (or, alternatively, "so now everything is about coins, isn't it?")

    CC Packs? "Why are you forcing CM stuff on us?"

    Titles? "Who cares about titles?"

    Mounts? "It looks so ugly"

    Legacy Gear? "So nice of you to give us a recoloring of an old set, Bioware. GG"

     

    This community is the epitome of unsatisfiable. I don't see how any loyalty program could ever make them think they're not being... slapped in the face.

    1.6 Cartel Market has not gone far enough

    I just reviewed all of the new items that were released in the Cartel Market with 1.6 -- bad form, Bioware. Very bad indeed.

     

    To say i am disappointed is an understatement.

     

    Where are the items i was expecting?

     

    Datacron laziness pack - 3000 coins

    Unlocks all datacrons for a character so i dont have to collect them.

     

    Passive Buff unlock pack - 4000 coins

    Unlocks all passives so i dont have to level multiple toons for buffs.

     

    Faction change pack - 5000 coins.

    Converts a level 50 character to the opposite faction

     

    Stop putting junky speeders and crappy fireworks i dont want this garbage.

    If you want to take my monies then give me something i actually want.

    Yes look into that but first look into heavy armors being overpowered nerf them by 50% in everything and THEN look at sages/sorcs. K? thx have a nice day mr/mrs.

     

    Hmmmmm.... Elemental damage ignores an large portion of the armor, so what are you complaing about? If I, a full WH Vangaurd Tankspec, get owned by a sorc, I don't see the OP here.

    Was 1.5 the last content for 2012?

    Wait, so there is a new update, new stuff, new area and a new companion and here you are complaining about the fact that there won't be another update this year but in January.

     

    little spoiled? Of course they promised a warzone, but things happen and maybe they don't want to release it because they want to doe more testing, or maybe they will release it in a smaller update. I play other mmo's and they also pushback release dates on expansions and updates. Lotro for instance pushed back there expansion a couple of months and even then the instance clusters is yet to be released.

     

    Have patience my young padawan.

    When I logged in yesterday I suspected a lag fest. There was lag, but not so much, for me, that it was unplayable. I really hope you are going to do a event with the scale of the rakghoul event. That was awesome!

    Epic Weapons Coming to SWTOR

    The first thing that pops into my head is Legendary Items from LOTRO, Which were a great interesting aspect that slowly got mutated over time into another grind aspect-- I love the general notion of a weapon that I can custom-tweak to impact abilities as they suit me personally, just as many people have their own personal touches on talent builds in all but the utmost minmax raiding.

     

    As long as their is some personalization to it and it isn't too grind heavy (given my 3 50's and an alt of every class type save jugg/guard so far) I think this can be a great thing.

    I had a Warden in lotro. He can tank/off tank and do ranged damage. So I had 2 sets of 2 weapons with the implants for the skills I used most. I really hope they are going to go this route.

    1. I never really see a lot of players. I even moved my character to a busier server but still feels a bit dead. looked at other MMO's I play and finding groups and seeing a lot of players is always abundant.

    On my new server I can not set a step on a endgame planet or I run in to a player or group

     

    2. Gear seems to look standard all around. Maybe I haven't reached high enough levels, but I just don'feel that unique in the game when ever I see other players.

    They cannot just "Invent" New gear. Bioware need to keep true to the lore of Star Wars I think that's even in the contract

     

    3. The game feels too much like a single player, and the story actually eats a lot of time. I love the fact of the full speach but I want to turn it off at times, so I can have a quick text option and grind (space baring through the conversations is annoying), and an auto light / dark question answer etc... I really want to move through the game to get to end raids etc... but it feels like it takes forever just because I have all these full speach convo's that I can't disable.

    No offense meant, but the game is advertised as a story driven MMO and fully voiced. That is there selling point. Trust me do won't change that. It seems to me you want WoW.

     

    4. Lack of Addons. Addon's make a huge difference to the game, and maybe I was spoiled in WoW. However, simple things like healer addons, and XP management tools, damage meters etc etc all made the WoW better game, and it was publicly made, so if one addon was crap you usually could find another better one.

    And there you go. This in not WoW. period.

     

    5. Achievement/Codex system is so messy. I NEVER USE it. Don't mean to compare this to WoW, but so much easier to track achievements and track game progress.

    Again, Not WOW!

     

    6. Too many areas are instance. Also when I team up with the same class it seperates us. If we allow the option to go into the same instance, we still have to do it twice to finish quests for both players. Broken I think.

    That is done because of the Story Owner function. It helps to not screw up progression. Ill give you this one. Maybe the will change this in the future

     

    It seems to me this game is not for you. Maybe find one that is more to your liking. I don't understand that players play a game they don't like or have many dislikes for.

    I don't understand the purpose of legacy items.

    So, you go to the new legacy item vendor, and there are a bunch of cool looking oranges for outrageous prices.

     

    I'm not here to cry about the prices or anything, i understand why they are there and it makes perfect sense to me.

     

    But this is where i'm lost... it appears that you can only buy the gear on the character you have exceeding level 20.

     

    For example, i have a level 50 guardian, and i want to roll a BH. But i can't buy the BH set? I can only buy the guardian set?

     

    Why would i want my BH running around in jedi robes?

     

    Did i miss something or is this system as herp as it seems?

     

    You got to mail the unassembled legacy stuff to the toon you want to use it on. ;)

    Commando/Merc still no interupt?

    I'm just curious why these classes still don't have an interrupt for bosses.

     

    In PvP its not a big deal all other classes have them and it only interrupts the ability they were using it doesn't lock them out of the "school" so they can just switch immediately to another ability.

     

    Commandos and Mercs don't actually have more of anything worth while in terms of interrupting in PvE. Knockback is just something that will make tanks angry or knock stuff out of aoe or into patrols if you aren't careful and doesn't work on bosses.

     

    Being the only class without an interrupt for reasons I just can't understand.

     

    I actually play a Juggernaut and I basically have way more control than these classes and I can interrupt bosses.

     

    I'm just asking in general because its a question for everyone why do you think they don't have one?

     

    I'd prefer comments related more to PvE since in PvP many classes have a lot more control and interrupts.

     

    A gravround between their eyes and full out in their guts, dying is also an interrupt! GETSOME!!!! :wea_02::D

    No you don't have to wait. You can level all your chars to 50 and not have a legacy, then create one and will have them all automatically added to your legacy provided they are on the same server.
