Just going to say... the idea behind PvP is to capture something before someone else... which is just like the quest where you have to capture the node in the middle. That is straight up PvP. No PvE about it. It's 2 dailies. Get over it. Don't go in the PvP area, stay in the PvE area. It's simple I know a bunch of people who got legend without ever stepping foot into the PvP area. And if you must do them, get a group. Wowza.

The problem comes when there's another expansion, then another, then another, then you have 20 lvls of all the same boring "just want to hit lvl cap" type of questing. Hopefully they will go back to individual stories, because that is why SWTOR is iconic in the MMO industry. They broke the trend in the genre in that regard and really need to not let it die. That's one of the biggest turn ons for people when they play. Oh ...if I lvl an alt, there will be a whole different story and dialogue! It's unique.

Oh... and you guys think top raid gear is gifted to everyone? It's still mediocre compared to the top PvP gear. So it's still better. You might have a leg up just starting PvP then someone fresh 55, but hell you can have top raid gear in any game and be well off in PvP so get used to it. Like no ****... Hold up... I started out in my arena team with top raid gear in WoW... and still raped people in full pvp gear.... Oh I did that in RIFT too... oh ... and LOTRO... I mean wow... it's so un heard of... Oh as an edit: I would like for you to tell me right now how many people yuou have seen in a WZ with full 72 gear. I mean come on. There's not many guilds (aside from really hardcore ones who care nothing about PvP who have it on farm which is a very small group) that actually have cleared every bit of HM SnV and HM TFB. Things may have changed, but the overall idea of what a soldier stands for still is there. Would the Na Zi's hold Europe if our soldiers weren't there to fight? You are giving them your money. You are a subscriber obviously, since you are posting. One thing you have to learn, if you lie to your consumers, it is called false advertisement. Do you think the devs at BW walked into EA's conference room and when asked why there's such a dip in revenue, why subs have gone down, why is there this much anger on the forums. The only if is that IF they come out with a 60 dollar expac. They already stated any new race will be VIA CM. Anyway, as a development stand point, it's lazy to just throw everything in your cash shop and let other aspects that make up the core game lag behind. I've played some good model F2P games, LOTRO is one of them. I don't care much about the fluff items and stuff, but hell LOTRO delivered content on top of content and it really looked like they were trying to make their game go somewhere. Its like BW thinks the games gonna belly up tomorrow and they need as much money from everyone as possible before it does xD

Now for the species thing, if they retain this trend and they bring out an expac that they price higher, say on par with a 60 dollar expac, but then charge CM coins for another species still? That's kind of what they hinted at by saying if the Cathar race does well they will work towards making new races available via CM. If they ever get to the point where they could actually produce a 60 dollar expac, new races will still be CM, so we are again seeing a half *** attempt at not making the game broader by expanding it's core, but side barring every bit of new content to the CM. Why wouldn't they do it that way? Less production time, more profit, don't need to worry about a whole new story arc. This is what we are going to be getting. I view the CM as BW's escape from actually having to develop something. Wait you wanted a boss to actually drop those robes?! Buy a pack instead! You wanted to be able to craft that stuff instead?! Buy a pack! Edit: Above based on assumption from what they said about future races. In the event of an actual full 40-60 dollar expac, will we see the species fully integrated into the game?

I really get what you are saying. Like someone who is like this: Wants the Cathar. Wants to change little appearances here and there on 16 characters. Wants to unlock the revan gloves for a specific character but has to obtain the ridiculously priced mask or pay more CCs for packs. That will take a few months. Maybe more if you go by your stipend. I understand peoples need to have it now mentality, which is impatience and I am one that follows the line of patience. But people play the game and will be willing to play longer if they have what they want in a timely fashion. I'm sorry, but 3 months or more isn't timely to me and I'm pretty damn patient. Older games took FOREVER to BiS gear yourself. No one would raid in this game except hardcorers if that was the case. But you can in a timely fashion here which appeals to everyones RL situations. I can miss a few days, but it's no biggie. Grinding credits for a very casual player isn't the way to go either. Those are probably the people who are upset the most. They don't have the time to grind, so it's either save the stipend, or buy more. Very limited choice. Spend money or wait three months. Which they might not even last that long. Ionno. I always say they just need to learn to implement their ideas better. I just hope they are actually trying instead of just giving us half assed attempts =/ Edit: These situations also just lead to people leaving the game.

" Providing incomplete information is... false advertisement and is indeed a deal breaker when it comes to a lot of consumers. They commented on specifically Revan's mask, a piece of armor, a single piece of armor, and stated having it will give you the ability to account wide unlock it. But that's not the case, you need the entire set. They should of said you need the set, not a single piece. It's misleading, and makes the devs look stupid. And it's not really advantageous to them, it's something that makes sense. People have already spent CC's, ingame credits etc. on these pieces, and they looked at it as "Wow! that's awesome! I can unlock for my entire account!" (which btw costs more CC's, therefore more money in BWs pocket) But now all those sets you bought that you didn't need piece A so you send it to another character, piece B so you sell on the GTN, etc will need to be bought off the GTN for now an inflated amount of credits do to demand, or bought off the CM for RL money which you already spent money on once. It was bad implementation + bad marketing = negativity through the forums, and it is warranted, and it does deserve a response. Edit: Bad implementation also goes with the dyes and barbershop. They really could of done better, and my faith in them as a QoL developer has pretty much shriveled up. I play the game because I love the FPs and OPs. Their poor excuse of everything else hasn't affected that part of the game, but I believe once this new dev team runs out of content the prior dev team had mapped out we are going to see a major let down in the content line.

Actually, I stated a little bit ago, that BW seems to respond better to rage. For one reason, that's when they start to lose money. I'd rather see good organized threads as well, which I do, but guess what? I hardly see them get a dev response when they really should. I will always see BW respond to those pissy rage threads though, and then all of a sudden things change. Anger affects BWs wallet the most.

I'm pretty sure most people are fine with the deal as a whole. If you want the big customizations you pay more. People don't like the implementation and it is stated a lot between all the posts like yours. Small changes - in game credits, big changes - CCs. Do you really care that people are voicing their opinion that it would be better this way? And it in fact WOULD be better this way since there would be way less negativity. There's no entitlement. You just choose to see what you want to see.
