Why does it feel like my sentinel is more squishy than usual, I went with the combat skill tree. just seems like more than 2 mobs is too many now even with a healer companion

Just coming back to the game, but I seem to remember whan I hit 50 on my GS I got a quest for some tokens to get a set of decent gear. do we still get that. or do i have to grind for it now. thx.
