Hello, Returning player after being gone for a while. I am playing a SIth Jugg, only level 67. I work Monday to Thursday at least 10 hours a day so I am only really on during the weekend. I just want a place where folks won't mind answering some newb questions. I have raided in other games starting with EverQuest. So I don't mind doing some raiding as long as it falls on a day I don't have plans. I have a wife so I can't just sit at the PC all the time. Hello, I am a returning player and looking for a guild to socialize as well as raid with. My raid experience in SWTOR is a bit limited, only tanking the first two raid zones when the game released. But I have been raid tanking in other MMO's since 99 with Ever Quest. The old guild I was in just broke apart in WoW, and I have decided to come back to SWTOR, since I was honestly tired of the game. I had to change Sunday to Friday, after talking it over with the wife, we decided I should leave Sunday open for family time. Sorry for the mix up. I also updated my time to play as well, opening up more raiding time.

Hello Folks, Let me tell you a bit about myself. I just turned 39, yes I know I am an old man! As the tittle says I am a returning player to SWTOR, I raided when the game first launched, and completed the first two raid zones. At that point I returned to WoW to resume my tanking for the guild I was in. At the current point in time, the WoW guild I was in just feel apart, trying to field 20 mans for Mythic. Honestly I am tired of WoW, having played it since the release of the game. Tank History I have been playing MMO's and have been tanking since Ever Quest, so that was since 1999. I have tanked in every MMO I have played, which include but is not limited to the following. Ever Quest (1 & 2), World of Warcraft, RIFT, Wild Star, Age of Conan, and of course SWTOR. I have tanked in some other games that are not worth to mentioning. My one exception was SWG, were I played a Bounty Hunter. Time Available Monday to Friday - 2pm to 10pm CST Weekends - Times Vary Depending on Real Life I can raid two to three nights a week and may be able to push the time past 10pm, but my wife is a MICU RN and has to wake up at 5 in the morning, and at this point in time the PCs are in the bedroom. This will change in about 6 months when we move back into a house and move back to CT from TX. I have no true preference to the class I will play. I am working on getting all the "Basic" gear I can on both characters, then start working on Elite. Starting to work on Classic Hard Mode Flashpoints this week. At this current point all my characters are on the Shadowlands server, but I will transfer if need be. When I raid I do take it seriously, and at the start I won't be talking overly much since I would have to learn the encounters. I do my homework on the fights, as in looking up the fights on You Tube, and doing any reading that is presented to me. Normally it takes me an attempt or two to truly grasp a fight, because even after watching a video one does not understand the fight until doing it.

I have recently come back to the game, it has just been over a week. I originally played SWTOR when it first re-leased and played for around the first six months and raided the content that was out. I have been tanking in MMO's since 1999 with EverQuest. At this point I am open to raid every day of the week except Tuesday and Thursday. (Heroic Tanking in WoW) I live on the CST, so I can't raid any later then 10pm. But besides those days I am open to play any other time. I know there is a lot of gear I would need to get to be considered a tank, but I am willing to farm the gear. So much has changed since I first played that I am willing to do what needs to be done. Mind you when WoD comes out I will need to level up and gear up my toon to tank, but I will do the same here once the expansion comes out, having a month between releases that will give me enough time in WoW to level up and gear up my tank to work so I can start tanking. I am leveling up a Powertech at this point, and have a level 40 Assassin. So if needed I can always switch to another character, but tanking is what I truly love to do. Oh yeah I picked it up. Before even logging into the game. Having a blast, got my Juggernaut to 55, and working on the BH now. Doing the class story first, while doing other quests to get gear. I love raiding, the reason I still play WoW and looking into playing this game again. The fact of tanking with a light saber or as a bounty hunter amazes me. Only thing I wish this game had was duel spec. Still looking for a new home, but as I said the two days I can not raid are Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Wow.... Sorry but this happens, we used to win every single PvP match on the Horde side on my old server, till we stopped even caring. It happens, and maybe look at your own team to why you guys are loosing. Every class in this game has a copy on the other side....

And trying to run the mouse as Admin doesn't seem to work... god what the heck happened with the mouse between last night and today...

The mouse worked fine in WoW, and I had working in RIFT and EQ2.. So I know that it works in other games.. everything with SWTOR and outside equipment is buggy as hell and annoying.

So I did a search, and can't seem to find any "active" threads on on this issue. So last night I was able to bind all 14 buttons on my mouse, today I log in and low and behold nothing is working. I did have to re-boot my PC for an update. Anyone have any ideas on how to make this work again? I tried mapping keys to SWTOR then make the same key macro's but that doesn't work at all... Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Join the club. I hate to say it but the programmers FAILED when it came to mice and this game. I use a 14 button mouse and it works with every MMO I have ever played except this one. WoW, RIFT and even EQ2 it works fine on. I try to use it for SWTOR and I have tried to set up multiple keys to the mouse buttons and nothing works. Getting annoyed big time.
