So as the title says I log into the game through the launcher and then.. Launcher loads the game then at the Character selection screen I get an endless download loop saying I can only play quick play. I saw a similar error appear in chat but the Dev claims it is fixed. Yet I have been having the issue since yesterday and it is still not fixed. Funny how EA had no glitches when it came to billing my credit card today. I am so close to cancelling this sub forever not that EA or any of the employees give a crap. But as the service I am paying for does not currently work I contacted my credit card company and explained the situation and they are putting the charge on hold. I have had time to play this game around 30 times in the last 6 months the game did not work 12 of those times.

I am having the same error it takes me to the character selection screen and says that I launched on quick play with a download pending. It has been 2 days now and it still is not fixed and there is no alert about it. Know what's funny though is EA had no delay billing my credit card for my 6 month subscription today. I am so tired of the BS EA does to gamers. I have just gotten done on the phone with my Master Card disputing the charge as the service I paid for is not working AGAIN.

So codes are going to rain. LoL how about you just code your patches right and test the damn things.

Seriously shut up they failed at their jobs today plain and simple do not kiss their asses for the failure to test a patch. This game has been out 6 years they should know how to patch the damn thing by now but they clearly do not.

Don't they have like a test server they could try this out on first? Also maybe they should roll their patches out at like 1am PST instead of 6 am PST just a thought. But I am not surprised it has taken them six years to figure out that oh wait they still can't patch the game without breaking it never mind my bad. Well back to work lol I do not know why I am even commenting on this it does not affect my daily nerd fix anyway for another 4 hours.

Maybe BW is doing what EA is telling them to do as in make the game worse because Disney doesn't want a MMO type game that isn't cannon being played. But on a side note I have played this game since beta, I left not long after Rise of the Hutt Cartel because I would not have time to play games. The game did not make me rage quit. I do find it interesting though that I have come back to the game and I notice two things: 1. This game still has a lot of cry babies like why should it be easy for you to gear up alts? You want to roll another character fine play the game and gear them up you don't deserve special alt treatment. 2. I find is extremely annoying that this game has been out for nearly 6 years and BioWare still cannot roll out a patch to save their lives without crashing the servers. Bonus: To OP GW2 is a non sub model so I highly doubt you were paying sub in the first place. Also I have played both and this game destroys GW2 in story elements plus have fun gearing up your alts easily over their based on post date I would not be surprised to see a qq post about why he might stop play GW2 because of alt leveling not to even mention gearing them up.

I have read a lot of comments on this thread discussing the quality of the swg community and the swtor community. I will say this about both, in game I run into a lot more friendly people than jerks. On forums I seem to see a lot of people who cry about the game, bash others comments and always think they know it all. I must say that I have noticed this in many other mmo games as well, not just this one. On a side note SWG player housing was a mess once people left the game after the NGE there were empty houses all over the place for a very long time. Also, I loved the crafting system in SWG, but as far as combat went I did not like it. Although, it was quite nice to get in a high level hunting party and just follow them around all day to very quickly level my SWG toons. As for the lacking features in the current player housing which the devs added mainly for the swg fans do you even remember how long it took to decorate your house? It was not like it was the most easy system in SWG either and I am willing to bet SWTOR devs will try to make it more to your liking seeing as how the heard all the crying about no player housing and added it.

I think they will not make anything more that requires a lot of $$ as EA is hurting from this "sucessful" game. I hope this game gets fixed but the way EA operates I just don't see it lasting well in its current form at least. Most of the time when I play I barely see more than 10 people on a planet on my server, which according to the server population count makes it standard population, lol.

People have been saying this since launch, but it may actually be right I just cancelled mine. I dont even care about the free month, stupid BioWare.

In a way I do agree with you, but I think the main reason they are doing it is because the endless complaints people have about nothing to do once they hit 50. That is just a guess though.

Roll another class or play another game, those are basically your choices if you're on a server like mine that has about 10 level 50s on at most during peak hours.
