  1. In many of the early videos you can see player characters taking cover while standing behind tall crates and such, as well as see many NPCs with the same animation. Now it seems we are all stuck with the same crouch animation removing some of the visual dynamic out of the cover system. Was this feature cut due to technical issues, and will we ever see it in game?
  2. I actually like the idea of a fully immersed space battle. Two capital ships blasting each other with support ships and dogfights all around. Maybe even a boarding action too. I really liked these levels in SW: Battlefront II. Also since this is the Old Republic I kind of miss the Speeder Races from KotOR. It was a quick and fun mini game with the added fun of being able to see your speeder in your cargo bay and say "Yeah, that's mine."
  3. I have a 400 skill Armormech and wanted to point out that in the first sorting section (quality) there is a listing for customizable. I wouldn't bring this up except for the fact that nothing shows up. I have many Customizable armors but they are all listed in Prototype mixed in and hard to find. With the changes coming in 1.2 I believe this needs to be addressed.
  4. So I have recently been doing some experimentation with Assault Plastique vs Sticky Grenade. It seems to me that AP is a one target bomb as I didn't see any splash damage or knock down on surrounding mobs. This is confusing me as it has the exact same description as SG but with a larger damage. SG clearly demonstrated the ability to hit a group, as well as knock down the surrounding in range targets. The fact that these two abilities share the same description (but with more damage) and cool down is what confuses me. Is this working as intended or something that needs to be fixed? I also see that a lot of people aren't going all the way down the Assault Tree, so I guess the testing would be limited.
  5. I seem to remember during testing when all the people now shouting that the game has to many problems were saying that they "...didn't care if it had bugs. It was good enough and we want it released now!"
  6. First, C3P0 in Empire Strikes back on Cloud City. I know it's not a real death, but I mean come on he's a droid and was never really alive. On Bobba Fett, Star Wars is a Science Fantasy Space Opera. Bobba Fett had a classic Soap Opra death. If it's off screen or a closed casket funeral they can be brought back later. Also he got out of the pit long after they had left the planet so it would have slowed the movie down. And Star Wars doesn't do the after credit clips like other modern movies. They were the one of the first to do the 5+ minute after movie credits at the time.
  7. SW:ANH INTERIOR: IMPERIAL STARDESTROYER. On the main viewscreen, the lifepod carrying the two terrified robots speeds away from the stricken Rebel spacecraft. CHIEF PILOT: There goes another one. CAPTAIN: Hold your fire. There are no life forms. It must have been short-circuited. ___________________ FOOLS! Destroy everything!
  8. They have nothing to do with the class story arc, but instead are a continuation of the planets story arc.
