Throwing HoTs on your team even if they arnt in combat is acctually quite usefull as a pre-emptive dmg mitigation seeing as the only time your not going to be getting attacked is if your the one solo guarding a node... Throwing heals on people out of combat only counts if their health is dmged so yeahhhhh explain this one the heal item thing is obviously a stat pad Odds are if your opponent is at or below 20% health your healing still because there is more than one opponent attacking your team, imagine that. This one was the best, as Tanks we wade into the dmg to get the teams attention on us, it seems to piss people off to no end when they cant kill a Tank with multiple people and ussually will chase me all over so I use this to drag the team from the Node or to keep dps off of my dps and on me as a tank you should we wading into the dmg trying to pull as much attention to the fact that your not dying and make people want to kill you so your team can do its thing But with all that said I agree big numbers do not make you good, we have a Guild on our server who their players always top the charts and have huge numbers but if you go up against a equally skilled group and have that pre-made in our group we ussually loose because they dont do any objectives "look how big my crit was, look at how much dmg we did!!!!! oh yeah we lost btw"
  2. seriously all this argument over somthing that is so simple to deduce...if you really think about it the changes makes it so those crappy pvpers arnt queing up nearly as long as before because they arnt playing 20 games for 3 wins and causing you to loose because they suck, they play 6 and stop queing

It still is not a LoS issue its a server issue, I agree this happens but it is not due to LoS being broken, since about 2 patches ago I have noticed that my Charge and Harpoon somtimes do not go off for a good 3-4 secs after I use them the skill is on cd but im still either standing there if I use charge or I havnt seen my harpoon animation go off then a little bit later somtimes even after doing 2-3 other skills my charge or harpoon trigger causing it to look very odd.. so I stand by you did not have LoS when the skill was used but agree that somthing needs to be looked at and fixed because its getting a little old that on a rare occasion I pop my charge to close the distance and can throw a sticky grenade and a taunt out before it acctually register to my character.
  4. As a Vanguard you did not have LoS of the person who pulled you, simple as that. That person who pulled you was just at a bad angle when they pulled you it happens to me all the time, I can see the person but in the angle im at my pull just bounces them into the wall or I got my skill off before that person LoS me but the skill delay causes it not to go off untill your behind the pillar.. How do you know he didnt cast the skill before you went LoS I mean just the fact that you said he stopped running should indicate some sort of lag was involved because why would a melee dude stop moving just to use dispatch.

PATCH 1.1 Rise of the Rakghouls.... learn to read people its been this way since january and no you havnt been popping them till recently if you think you have your on crack or hacking the game PvP •The PvP item "Heal Consumable" is now named "Warzone Medpac." Its cooldown has been reduced from 5 minutes to 3 minutes and it now shares the 1.5-minute cooldown with other medpacs. This item can be used effectively over time, but now cannot be stacked beyond what is intended. •The PvP item "Overcharge Consumable" is now named "Warzone Expertise Adrenal." Its cooldown has been reduced from 5 minutes to 3 minutes and it now shares a cooldown with other adrenals. It (and other adrenals) no longer stack with the PvP Power-Up that increases Expertise to prevent Expertise values from increasing beyond intended levels. •Warzone Medpacs and Warzone Expertise Adrenals no longer share a cooldown with each other. •A new line of high-end PvP relics with appropriate PvP stats have been added to PvP vendors.
  6. since 1.2.... wow people obviously didnt pay much attention untill this patch, it has been this way for sometime now it is to prevent dbl stacking of adrenals if it did not work this way people would be able to gain a dmg bonus from both adrenals at the same time, that would be and was broken hence why they fixed it AWHILE ago
  7. Its for Pve mainly, also although they share a CD they do not have the same CD timer, alot of times what I do is pop my WZ adrenal first and my Rakata attack adrenal afterwords as alot of times I need the extra power before the WZ adrenal is off CD but the Rakata one is ready to use.

    tanks in pve gear?

    I have tested out both and survivability SERIOUSLY increases when using BM/WH gear that has expertise on it, I dont know about other classes but the only thing that I could see making the PVE gear viable against people who are useing the PVP gear is the set bonus allows me a 2% defense on elemental and internal attacks which otherwise have no way of being mitigated and as I beleive someone already posted yes the BM gear has pretty much no sheild/abosorb on it but the War Hero gear is stacked with it, so the gear you will want to wear has the proper defenses so that it is an obvious upgrade other than just upgrading your expertise your upgrade your overall ability to tank

When I pvp with a premade somtimes I dont win and alot of times when I PUG my teammates are number hounds ignoring objectives so I get owned this is clearly broken, I should always win so the simple solution is Nerf the entire game, except my account that is because I want to be able to own people with ease
  10. I noticed this aswell but from what I can tell they spread the stats threw the gear a little more so the endurance is made up on other peices

    You should get magnifying glasses and use them to look at the trees again since your obviously blind, its a 3 point skill for both sides and both sides start at 15/20% and once you put in all 3 points it turns into 45/60%
  12. I do this personally all the time on my Vanguard, rather easy actually... Ya know alot of people complain and complain about Maur/Sents and it just leaves me wondering, do they realize that just about everything a maur/sent can do can be mitigated?? most of their skills are weapon dmg which can be neutralized with Defense a skill everyone calls garbage and discards because everyone assumes that EVERY CLASS does nothing but spam Elemental and Internal dmg types... there is a reason why the classes that do best against maurs are the ones with the most Defense, everyone is on this mission to build the highest dps output possible and as a result make themselves squishier than they should be.

    If your specd all the way up to energy blast(Tree cap skill) in sheild than your burst is garbage. Tactics/Prototype and Assualt/Pyrotech both have very good burst Assault line has a higher burst % but Tactics has a more sustained burst. Odds are what your experiancing is more people are testing out the Tactics/Prototype line due to the "nerf" (imo they fixed a broken skill) to Assault line revolving around reseting your high hitting skill, in the Tactics line I can in a matter of seconds pop off 2.5k firepulse,3k stockstrike(free),2k Ion Pulse,3k HiB and then spam Ion Pulse for 1-2k untill that same rotation is back up all the while working in Guts and hammer shots to keep a DoT on you and my ammo up... I was able to do this just as effectivly pre 1.2.

    playing a vanguard absolutly nothing has changed in our Burst, in fact it has acctually gone down due to the changes with the Assault/Pyrotech line
  15. who cares, alot of the quiters are the problem anyway... I joined a WZ mid game that 3 people quit and our team was being camped in Voidstar as we dropped down... we won because the team got rid of the quiters and had people who wanted to win even if their down join.
