  1. i dont see an invisible meter for threat being an issue. i see far more pressing issues that the game needs to address however. the levelling process should be used to get to know how well your class builds threat and to determmine the pace of damage you can use without nicking aggro from a tank.
  2. lol Bioware have enforced regular breaks on gamers consistently and Bioware have fixed what they ****ed up in the first place by implementing despite the major flaws being pointed out by testers i'd rather wait 6 months for new content then have a bug riddled content update forced upon me then having my game time cut down for the next 6 months while the inept devs try to patch what hould never have been put in in the first place
  3. i'd expect the official website to be my first port of call however...
  4. which is all well and good. but they haven't completely fixed the issue not that i dont understand that it may be hard for them to get it fixed first time, just want to highlight that they still need to work on it rather then assume its all ok
  5. i like how the Ilum exploit was explained to them and they still released it, then pissed everyone off by having to patch it. Is anyone actually in charge in Bioware?
  6. did i specify which was the fanboys statement.... stop jumping to the good ship Conclusion, Captain Oblivious
  7. a post like this in the SWTOR forums i fear for your rl safety!
  8. in before fanboys tearing op to bits! but seriously, while i'm still enjoying the game i can understand where you are coming from. from what i've heard the game does not get much better later on. but i'll let other people who are end game tell you for themselves but beware on the forums. SWTOR has one of the worst forum communities i've ever seen
  9. i think some people have deluded themselves that its game haters who are posting negative things about this game however there are a lot of people who are subbed who see this game having potential but feel that the game is sub par closed forums wont change anything. there are 2 camps here people who are blinded to all the games many faults and people who are blinded to the games equally many virtues
  10. fanbois spotted in thread but yeah this downtime was pretty pointless as i'm still getting game crashes game was stable before but each patch seems to make it worse
  11. yeah one or the other, certainly not both however flag option is best as its harder for a griefer to exploit other people's games. that way control of the game remains with the player not other people
  12. this do not even consider nvidia's 5 series if you're not going to upgrade the cpu!
  13. you can equip any rifle to him the ones that require him, are limited to him alone, but any rifle can be equipped to him
  14. its a backward way of doing things and should be removed. considering it takes a few seconds to flag yourself for pvp i'd say it was a completely needless and naive feature to put in
  15. No it isnt SWG didnt have this feature. AoC doesnt have this feature, Vanguard doesnt have this feature. the big deal is that there should be no pvp without both players being flagged either by setting the flags themselves, or by walking into a pvp zone, on a pve server. if it's intentional then its pretty damn stupid, if someone wants to pvp they can flag themselves in seconds. needs to be removed straight away also looking at the level of responses in this thread, i am almost amazed about how dumb a lot of players actually are.
  16. On Luka Sene The old Eutopia guild is on it too but havent really spotted anyone else from Infinity
  17. the cynic in me wonders why this isnt in the mando forums but here in the pvp forums amongst the "nerf commando" crybaby threads...
  18. well it wasnt part of a long term vision they had in mind or i'm pretty sure people may have thought twice about rolling an op.
  19. nerfing is never a solution. it makes a problem ongoing. at a pushgive other classes boosted abilities but even do that as a last resort.
  20. havent had any issues with my ati really, but if my 5770 is cutting it and you wanna save some cash, i reckon a gtx460 can run this game smooth enough. depends how future proof you want it really
  21. dont need a top of the line for this game i run a 1st gen i7 6gig triple channel ram ati 5770 gfx card i have never lagged in a warzone or at any point in this game
  22. or better yet learn a different way to approach it. i'm a commando, i know the effects of grav round. if i see the imp equivalent of it on me i dont stand around to take it.i get out of range. i'm slowly learning what the other classes can do. quite frankly it's hard to learn what other classes do if bioware are gonna be nerfing classes every update. pvp as a whole needs more work and i would rather see the resources go into that instead of this nerfing crap
  23. lol i know. they dont have to admit tho. just stopping with the bs that they come out with would be good enough for me
  24. the great nerf ball has started rolling and the game is barely a month old. i'm hoping they buff op back up as nerfs is never the answer
  25. yet i wonder if most of the people have considered that maybe the other class isnt op, but that they themselves are just bad pvpers. after all not everyone can be amazing at pvp. in my experience, its usually the people who dont call for nerfs that are better at pvp as they are able to adapt to other classes skills. and its people who call for nerfs that are usually poor at pvp as they expect the game to suit their own playing style. enough with the nerf calls already. none of it is justified
