Of course you can, just pile in. Seriously, I met a dude last night in game that said he wasn't ready for a specific one of the new uprisings because he needed to do some research first... c'mon, just play the game! It is only a game. Work it out together. However, just let your team-mates know that you are brand new to it. I have been in and led many operations both in guild and pug and never seen anyone turned away - however, if you say you know something and you don't, or say you can do X Y or Z and cannot and have no knowledge of how or even what those things are... well... I cannot help you there. And I will say that completing some content, regardless of the difficulty, with no guide and working it out yourselves is one of the more enjoyable and bonding things you can do in game, whether its your first crack at a SM boss or your nth crack at the HM version.

If they are nerfed into the ground, which your recommendations would lead to, then not only will those that want this content not be catered for, but any wannabe raiders will never be able to get a group cos, you know, no ones running them. Reading a single webpage, such as Dulfy's guides, isn't a whole lot to ask for. Hell, you could even just try to figure them out yourself! Bizarre, I know.

They made it very clear... the first boss of 5 will be on PTS in about two weeks, with a view to launch into live in about 8 weeks. After that, the second boss will be introduced along with the HM (now, it wasn't clear if it was HM for all from then on, or one at a time). The cadence of the further bosses is not known... some seem to think it will be spread over the rest of the year... myself, I reckon they will pop them out as they are ready, hopefully quicker than 1 every 3 months.

You asked in the stream for ideas about how you could get some bonus cxp into the game... How about bonus (and I mean LOTS of bonus) cxp for doing certain things. Similar to those bike quests for Operations... something that is repeatable and maybe includes the final boss in all ops, or maybe a run through of all chapters from start to end, or all uprisings/flashpoints. Some way to reward a player for grinding through all that... like, enough to give a few instant crates when you are done. Thoughts, anyone? (Posted in main section of the forum too)

+ indeed, you can tell from the tone of the chat in the stream from some people that they'll never be happy - expectations are utterly unrealistic. Computers are simply magic ain't they... its all instant and everything.

They have just emphatically answered that - they will tweak and tune but no reversal. Time to decide what you will do.

It's not like the first boss will drop on day 1 and then the last boss will finally drop on day 365. The first is coming soon to the pts (2 weeks), then live (6-8 weeks) and then the cadence of the rest will follow (personally, I would expect to see one a month at least). That is only my guess though, based on their info.

It was only ever a co-op, with a massive chat channel, at best anyway... you can stick a name on anything, doesn't make it so.

What else is there to spend on... you wont be getting THAT many pieces to cover the cost of buying those... which leaves a lot of command tokens. I say throw a few around each alt, keep a few hundred command tokens back for pieces - but the rest are :/

Correction: its 2 expansions. SoR was three expansions ago... and that had 2 raids - so that makes 2 expansions without a raid. You don't have to negate your point with made up rubbish, the truth is bad enough.

I appreciate that... but would you consider a properly balanced purple relic, implant or earpiece, hey even the mh/oh... as a decent loot? It has to count as something.
