How many people do you know who bought packs explicitly for certs? I'm gonna guess 0. Certs are a good way of obtaining gear that is not around anymore or a rarity on the GTN and 1 cert out of 3 packs unless you play for about 10 years will get you anything that you may care for. Certs were not a problem. They did nothing to the economy.

It's not just the fact of the Jawa Scrap, it is also the fact that they effectively removed the cartel certificates. I played over 8 stacks of coins and not one cert and only 5 scraps. Their own statement that the machines were working as intended points to a bait and switch as people flocked to seek to purchase this item either through the GTN, renting it (charging for people to enter a stronghold) or purchasing with real world money. Plus their refusal to address the change via customer service reeks of deceptive practices.

As has been the many posts before in Customer Service and in here. This takes slightly different approach of what you, Bioware and EA have participated in. First and foremost the issue of the Slot Machines IS a Customer Service issue. We were told as a community that the slot machines were working as intended and were not an exploit. This had people using real world money to buy your packs in order to possibly receive the item. After the last patch they no longer offered the same items nor even close to the same compensation as the prior item offered. This is where deceptive practices come in. You guys swindled money from your customers then used a bait and switch : bait-and-switch noun the action (generally illegal) of advertising goods that are an apparent bargain, with the intention of substituting inferior or more expensive goods.) Second after people make a customer service complaint you refuse to address the issue, and instead insist that people use the suggestion box. While you do have the right to change the game according to the EULA you do NOT have the right to participate in deceptive practices. Not addressing the situation and ignoring it is not going to make it go away, nor is it going to instill a sense of confidence with your player base. If you don't want to keep the job that us subscribers provide you, by all means continue away.

You don't live in Vegas then. These machines don't only a. Deliver what was promised when released. b. Have Worse odds then the slots in Vegas.

Out of 1 stack of 99 coins I received 1 Jawa scrap, 38 rep items and NO certificates. 2nd stack 48 rep items no scrap or certificates, 3rd stack 41 rep items and 1 green scrap. .... I used to receive 3-6 certificates per stack. There was NOTHING about certificates reduced. Also drastically reduced Jawa scrap? Try rare drops now..... Fix this tripe.
