  1. I noticed a rakata gloves is now showing up as part of a 4 piece underworld set bonus- is this a display bug or does old armor now count for the new unerworld bonuses? Thanks

  4. You get a lot of power from places you can't get cunning- ie enhancements and WH relics. Cunning and power provide the same bonus healing boost.
  5. Short answer- the set bonus/gearing sucks for SS/sniper. Get the 2pvp set that extends flyby and the 2pve that reduces the cost of takedown (don't know repub name). The armor mods you want Skill/artful and enhancements/implants configure your desired crit/surge/accuracy. I dont know if SS suffer the same offhand penalty as BH do, if so that suuuucks.
  6. Two things 1. 99.9% of this is playing your class, you can't go toe to toe with a powertech, so don't try. If you are walking up to one with full health unstealthed you are going to die. If one is attacking you while you are fighting someone else you are going to die. Scrapper is about cheap shotting people. 2. You don't need to be at mele range the whole time. If you must attack a full healthed PT, open SF/BW/SP etc... then they are still alive because our burst has been nerfed. Now its time to get away from them while your swag is on cooldown. Flashbang/dirty kick/tendon blast and get outside of 10m while you dot and grenade them then run back in, or better yet restealth and reopen. If they chase you LOS for 3-4 seconds and UWM yourself and then reengage.
  7. I only use if UWM is interrupted or I have 3 upper hand, someone is low and there likely won't be a lot of immed healing needed. Like in a 2 on 1 defending a node in alderan where the DPS with me is close to dying.
  8. This event was rather poorly done so far from the amount of cross planet movement to the lack of instanced areas for things like killing falaeen or whatever his name is. People will first say "people complain regardless". It's a rather silly false dichotomy to say either everyone will complain about lack of content or people will complain about this event. Regardless of the amount of end game content there is for any game, any content that requires you to waste a ton of time moving back and forth between two places for no reason is silly. Any content that has an arbitrary waiting period for you to finish it, that the game never explains or clarifies, is silly. These 2 factors are magnified when the content is some kind of "event" that people are going to be excited about and want to complete quickly due to their excitement. Then they say "welcome to mmos". I'm sure there are a lot of games that used a similar formula, that doesn't make it a good one. If a quest takes a long time because it is challenging or their is a puzzle that is great. If it takes a long time because of arbitrary movement (go to your ship, go to the fleet, go to nar shada, go to dromund kas, back to nar shada....) that is lazy design.
  9. There are a few stickies you should read on this page. The most important part of scoundrel healing is staying mobile/away from the fray. You don't have to do a lot of stand/cast so keep moving away from trouble. If you are having trouble with energy -always stay above 60%- once you dip below your regen suffers and its hard to get back out -when low and need to heal use diagnostic scan/EMP untill you get up higher -make sure you are using /refreshing your hots correctly. Keeping 2 stacks on 2-3 people is easy once you learn ot refresh at the right times because you don't have to cast twice to keep 2 stacks. For keeping yourself alive -use your defense screen before you heal yourself as it boosts your healing and reduces the damage you are taking. Run away from people/use LOS- use tendon blast/flashbang to create distance -if you are getting mobbed by a marauder or powertech use DS or KP first in case they are going to interrupt if you are having healing trouble as full sawbones hybrid is not a solution- its a lot harder/takes more class skill.

  12. Use DA in pve to avoid fighting things- like if you have to click something near a mob, unstealth to click it, DA to avoid fighting them. This is how you solo all the dailies in 1/2 the time it takes to do them with a group
  13. I used a lot of power augments, 2x WH power relic (augmented with moar powers), 2x BH mender implants (which are like 90 power each) and all 26 adept enhancements which are like 40 power each
  14. If you really want crit that high you can use crit augments now, i have all BH or campaign and my unbuffed crit is around 30% and UWM still crits about 1/2 the time. I have 2200 cunning (buffed) and 1080 power and my crits are for 7.5k and up
