I'm wondering the same thing. It's been saying that since the servers came back up.

Yeah - I have the military enforcers already. Here's to hoping the others are either in, or get put in for players. On that note, I know T-7's weapons use that graphic - but it's only useable by him. I know also, the E-41 Sonic Shrieker uses one of the graphics, but it's not orange - so can't mod it all the way to 50+.

Two things so far: 1.) It's annoying as hell being dropped outside of the instance instead of back where we ported from, and having to travel halfway across the galaxy to get back to that location (to be able to pick up where we left off). 2.) Gear checks: I'm not trying to be elitist, but there are some instances (such as HM Lost Island) that a newly and undergeared level 50 is simply not going to be able to do. I'm sure that we can all agree on at least this much - that being properly geared will allow a group a chance to beat enrage timers; survive hard-hitting abilities or area damage effects and the like. Quite simply, there needs to be some type of minimum gear threshold that needs to be checked on a flashpoint by flashpoint basis. If not, it will basically defeat the purpose of the group finder. Folks will opt out of using it to prevent continual wipes from pickup groups using it.

For clarification - 1.) black/red glow is found on high end raid & pvp gear for Imperials 2.) black/green and neon green are the same gem (it's black/neon green just like the preorder crystal) gotten from Razer gear ( http://www.razerzone.com/swtor ) 3.) black/blue glow is found on high end raid & pvp gear for Republic 4.) cyan/magenta may be the same color and was confirmed as a recipe in the game as part of patch notes dated 11/24/11. 5.) black/yellow glow is the preorder crystal 6.) black (vibrosword or lightsaber is unknown; unknown if actually in the game) - was datamined by various websites 7.) white (drop from the world boss on Alderaan during beta testing; unknown if actually still in the game)

The looks as well as the sounds are different for each saber hilt shell.

You used to have to use the work stations in an old copy of beta to make/remove items from gear. They removed the need to do it at work stations - and never took out the work stations. Apparently, they forgot to remove the labels.

Problem is - I don't think they're despawning once used but not looted.

All items with purple crystals were taken off of vendors - but yes, you can pull them out of items and then put them into your light saber. I would also like to point out that quests that used to reward purple crystals - no longer do so; the databases are woefully out of date with data they got from early beta builds.

This ^^ - no screenshots to prove it - but was present in the zone when one dropped. This may no longer be the case since game is now live. Folks were "shouting" about it (or rather talking in the general channel). I've also seen screenshots of it being wielded. Irregardless - it was beta; this is live. Any number of things could have changed.

There's a magenta recipe that was put into the game in a beta patch - no one's confirmed a drop anywhere. As far as the purple crystals themselves, they're in the game - just rare as all hell since the game went live.

Those are the beta test rewards. It was changed ages ago.

Just an FYI - it was datamined. There's been no confirmation as of yet about a drop anywhere.

There was an entry one of the official patch notes that a magenta colored crystal recipe was added into the game for the Artifice skill. No one has thus far confirmed a location on where it's obtained.

Can confirm these colors: red; blue; green; yellow; orange; purple; white; magenta; black with a yellow glow; black with a blue glow; black with a green glow; black with a red glow. There's unconfirmed rumors of a completely black crystal/blade as well.
