  1. Yeah definitely agreed about the server stability. I had one hitch where I almost crashed but the game saved itself and I didn't have problems since. Good stuff.

  4. 3/3 Charge Mastery is the only Elemental/Internal defense we get through Talents. Elemental and Internal damage do not get mitigated by Armor so we will always take full damage unless we have resistances for them. In all actuality most of our damage comes from Shock, not Thrash. Thrash is more of a setup skill.
  5. What do you mean by 'damage roll'? If you meant 'role', then yes we're good.
  6. To be fair Anron, you have to admit that Marauders went through a lot of changes over the Beta builds (5+ months for me). I have yet to see one in the Live build so I'm not too sure how powerful they really are yet. I do know that I've been hearing good/positive things from the Marauder in my guild.
  7. Probably. You'll fight for gear with a Sorcerer too though.. not that gear isn't too hard to come by.

  9. Good to know. I'm sure if your opponent was smarter/better you wouldn't have come out of that fight with 90% hp though I've always liked that match-up back when WoW was fun.
  10. We're a melee class with force powers, in a nutshell. I suggest you read the Assassin's Codex stickied at the top of the thread. That should answer any questions you have.
  11. I'm sure both Ahhmyface and I are a higher level than you already. I counted only 3 more abilities that I haven't learned yet via talents or class progression that are active use and I have more than enough room on my bars and keybinds are already set to support them. I also have spots for both relics, my pvp consumables, grenades, and PvE heal consumables. Not sure why everyone else is having problems..
  12. How many high level Marauders have you fought so far? Just curious. I'm actually excited that Marauders may pose us some challenge. They were downright laughable in the beta. And yes.. sometimes 1v1s do happen. Not much in Warzones but try going through Tattooine without fighting at least one enemy there; 1v1 is much more common in open world pvp. "Real PvPers" will PvP wherever it's the most common. Right now that's in a Warzone, and "Real PvPers" do what they can to win. In a Warzone, that means being team-oriented. Sit down please.
  13. I'll post it here too I guess.. seems there's a lot of threads about this. It's definitely a tricky fight. Best thing I can suggest is this: - Put Guard on Khem - Use Electrocute as soon as the first wave of adds come, take out the adds while Khem damages the Elite. - After Khem takes some damage, taunt the Elite off of Khem and take some damage. Use your 20 minute cooldown to heal yourself and remove the cd on electrocute - Khem will taunt off of you eventually, let him tank for a bit and use electrocute when the next wave spawns. Should be almost dead by then.. don't forget to use your own potions.

  16. I agree, but it makes more sense just to add another regular bar. The bloat isn't as bad as you're all making it out to be, at least for Assassins.

  19. I suppose it would be a little situational in a Deception-based build. Personally I would be using Lacerate quite a bit as I'm usually in the heat of things (unless I'm defending a turret in Alderaan that isn't being attacked of course), so getting Energize procs is very frequent and that means guaranteed shock crits (especially considering Crackling Blasts) that can be used more often. I honestly wouldn't underestimate just how good Energize really is. I'm biased though as I'm a Darkness assassin so I get Energize anyway and use Thrash instead of Voltaic Slash. Having Energize + Electrify + Induction + Chain Shock (2/3) has been extremely successful for me. And yes, I was in Beta too.
  20. That's pretty much the build I'm going to be using at 50 (for heavy PvP). I'd suggest taking a point out of Chain Shock in favor of Force Pull though. There's very very little reason to avoid Force Pull just for a 15% proc chance of Chain Shock. I also suggest taking a point out of Shroud of Darkness (1% endurance is nothing) and 1 point out of Thrashing Blades in favor of Lightning Recovery. You'll use Force Speed and Force Shroud all the time so it's a talent that should never be ignored for PvP.
  21. Yes I apologize. I didn't realize you were thinking of the "Defense" stat though I probably should have assumed that given the wording of the talent. I wasn't 100% accurate though.. the 21% includes Premonition so you'd have 19% without the talent. I corrected my previous comment. As an aside, Lightning Reflexes does the same thing as Premonition mechanics-wise.

  23. No.. it's not. The Defense bonus is additive to the Mitigation percentage rating after calculations, not to the stat itself. Fully buffed without "Defense" gear an Assassin has 21% Avoidance rating. This includes the 2% buff from Premonition (so 19% without it). The wording on the talent tooltip is a bit off.. watch your character sheet when learning the talent if you don't believe me. That's much much different than adding 3% to your total Endurance pool.
