anyway just keep trying until it works. I made my third lvl 60 character like that just like the other 2.it will happen as long as you are patient and try again and again.make sure to do it at a time that the server load is light

did you even bother reading what I wrote? I made 2 lvl 60s in both cases I skipped everything ...skipping is irrelevant to this bug. the biggest problem I think is server load. when the server has a light load I instantly made a lvl 60 without problems. when the server load is heavy it was impossible to make a lvl 60, no matter how hard I tried I always ended up lvl 1 in fleet

one week later they released the update along side this bug... kind of makes you wander if bioware even bothers checking what they make... I remember the revan bug... how long did it take them?...don't even remember but it was some time after release. Im guessing this character issue is gonna be fixed next month if we're lucky. The new stuff are so good they probably thought that a "little" bug like this would not be much of a big deal... once again they do the same thing. I went through all of my other chars logging in and out and then I was successful on making a lvl 60. That advice from EA support about not skipping vids or cutscenes is false cause the moment the logo "a long time ago....in a galaxy...."appears you know that if its low quality you are gonna end up in the fleet lvl 1 ,if its good quality (smaller sharper letters for max resolution 1080p) you know that you are clear and can go ahead without fear of bugs, also keep in mind that if you are bugged you will hear sound from the fleet in the background when the SW text is rolling in the opening...sounds like the cantina music that is hard to miss. tried to reproduce the steps that allowed me to create a lvl 60 only to come to the conclusion that it is completely random.only managed to make one just to get the nice jedi knight armor...tried over a dozen times since then for other chars but it wasn't meant to be....

oh god im so tired just finished gathering another 150 dna smaples for today...any idea for how much the lvl 50 crystals will sell after the event ends in the GTN?

bioware made a "mistake" with this event cause its so good that our expectations are gonna be really high for the next one! i only have one complaint...the whole "new quests are unlocked the next day"... i understand that by doing what they did with this event makes people come back and play everyday...me being a casual player ended up being hardcore since yesterday that i heard about the event.thats nice and i really dont mind not having a life for a few days since i imagine that later when new players will see my rakghoul stuff i'll brag about it.still i would have liked it more if i could grind through the event in one day than waiting the next day(what if i heard about it the last day?...i wouldnt be able to enjoy it)...yes mmo games require a level of commitment but still between leveling to lvl 50 taking a pause and grinding space mission for money and crafting/gathering there is only so much time the average person can invest in the game.just for one character! i hope in future events that the Devs will find some way to balance that. also i would like to remind the devs that theres another solution.the Star Trek Online "episode" system when each individual quest of an event comes every week and the event lasts about 5 weeks.by launching the quests in weekends they also give some bonus loot or gear for those who play the quest in the "launch weekend"(weekends are good cause most people are at home and not at their jobs) so if somebody plays it in the following week he/she wont get that nice extra.i think that this model could work really well.if you log in the last day you can play all the quests.cause each quest i being unlock every weekend.so you dont loose the experience. p.s.it feels really bad to see so much hate from so many people...especially if you have to hunt them through the desert just to infect them......lolz.hope in the next event they dont do something like that so that we,the people who liked it can avoid feeling bad...

are there any bugs? im a level 33 jedi guardian and cant play these quests cause they simply dont appear pure virus sample hybrid strain newly infected for the first and the third quest the terminals are inactive.i cant get the quests no matter what.for the second i simply dont get the drop that starts the quest.is there anything you have to do in order to get those? or are they available only for level 50 chars? dulfy in her blog says:"You might need to wait a day to pick up the new dailies if you did not do the dailies since day 1 of the event" is that the reason?cause this is day 2 for me

...i will buy the legacy armor just because i think it looks good,you know the jedi plate...you must remember that lots of people like to spend lots of time gazing at their armors...i dont care much about how usefull they are.i'll never change my handcrafted armors...but when im taking screenshots i want my jedi knight to wear that nice legacy plate armor.
