  1. Lol put that ugly thing on their heads I'll bet they'll turn into the meanest f'ing monster in the universe.
  2. Apparently BW hired the guy from Blizzard that designed and convinced Bluzzard, that pandas would be cool....
  3. Heck I'd be so angry having to wear that I'd go to the Dark Side too. That would tempt Mother Teresa to convert probably. I've always wondered how one person can convince a group of people with half a brain, that some like that is cool looking. Like that little ugly square thing Nissan makes, Cube or something like that. How the hell does some designer comvince a bunch of high executives that there's a market for that and that it's awesome. One heck of a salesman I guess.
  4. /waves from South Bend. Weathers been fantastic. 84 today ***! I expect a foot of snow next week lol. Regarding paying for transfers, I'm not sure I'd pay for one. I've rerolled 3 times, only to reroll on a low populated server. They all say standard. Standard is 40-50 on fleet at prime time? 5-15 people on planets. Lol I've got crappy luck picking servers apparently. I would think they should merge the severs first to eliminate the surplus before offering transfers, or give more statistics about server populations. I wouldnt mind paying to transfer, but I'd be pissed to pay for one only to find out its worse than the one I left.
  5. I wasn't implying I didn't like it. It was glorious. The amount of open world pvp that happened there. I just wish server pops got to a level where pvp actually existed. WZs I dont in high regards for pvp. I think another problem is even on "heavy" servers, the quest zones don't overlap enough to get alot of open world pvp. But that's a different topic. Oh and this... Die carebear maggot!....Jk (FYI "carebear" isn't easy to type on an iPhone. Dumb auto correct.
  6. Lol yeah, good ole vanilla Ashenvale days. Log in to level and spend half the night ganking or getting ganked. The cycle of the ganked getting on his main to gank the ganker that was ganked earlier always cracked me up. Point is, you couldn't go anywhere without bumping into someone else. I'm on my 3rd 40+ character and I've consciously kept track of the dirty Jedi I've see. I'm level 48, almost done with Voss. I saw 0 on Tat while leveling. 0 on Taris, heck I don't even remember seeing any Imps on that place..I saw one dirty Pub on Hoth, and last night I saw 2 on Voss. But hey, server pops are JUST FINE. BW posted 1.7 million subs after all...
  7. 100% agree. Although BW doesn't have 8 years under its belt to work out bugs etc., they DO have 8 years of a model to find out what works and what doesn't work for people. Surely someone at BW played WOW enough to know people like customization, from characters to UI's.
  8. I've posted this on other threads..amazingly they get deleted but I'm doing it again anyways. Think about the 1.7 million number. If there were 100 servers, that would mean on average 17000 subscribers/server. I know the 4-5 ones I've been to have all been around 65-85 on fleet @ peek hours. 10-20 on each planet, probably a 30-40 doing WZs. I'll be nice and say 50 doing Ops. Double all those numbers x2 for opposing faction and it's a long ways from 17k. I know you can't use those numbers to get an exact amount because not everyone is logged on. I think it's a fair to say most people that logging ON AVERAGE for 2 hours some more..some less. That would be 12 cycles of people logging in and out. Still not coming close to 17k people per server. You can take those numbers times 20 and still be a far cry from 17k. Now here's the kicker, there's not 100 servers (which would mean the average would have to be higher/server) and at release when i waited in queue and would get into game, fleet numbers were like 275 with 40-50 on other planets. That's a FULL server. I'm pretty sure their servers couldn't handle the load if there really was that many people. I've seen posts where people say "O but PC Gamer confirmed this". Lol who cares? PC Gamer isn't an audit agency with full disclosure to the books or whatever is needed to get these numbers. I think BW is padding the stats for shareholders and investors which is pretty terrible. uh hum...Enron. Save subs not shareholders BW!!!! MERGE MERGE
  9. Here's a stat for you. 1.7 million subscribers to SWTOR. Lol I smell BS. If there were 100 servers that would be in average 17000 people/server. Not even close IMO. I've been 4-5 different one and they're all the same. 65-85 on peek, 10-20 on planets. Figure probably on average people play 2 hours so thats 12 rotations of people. Still a far cry from 17k people. I remember getting in game after waiting in a long queue and only seeing like 250 on fleet. That's 250 on fleet on a full server....I don't think their servers could handle the load required to run 17k people on it. Someone's padding the stats for shareholders. Tbh I don't care about how subs there are, they should be honest and fix the problem. Worry about keeping subs BW, not shareholders.
  10. Amazing how all these people are claiming their server populations are so low. Probably all on the same sever I bet (sarcasm). After all, BW just reported 1.7 million subscriptions. I hope the server populations get addressed and I hope the 1.7 million subs fib gets addresses. No way possible. With 100 servers that's an average of 17,000 people per server. I'll bet the farm there isnt a sever out there close to 17k on it. I know I know, PC gamer confirmed this. I mean...PC Gamer is a reputable audit company that I'm sure BW disclosed all their books to look at (more sarcasm). There were numerous sudits on Enron to if I remember correctly. Someone's trying to squeeze shareholders for a little more. Sorry BW, I actually like the game, but I hate when companies think people are stupid. There is a real problem here. I know I've rolled on many different servers just to see populations. They're all relatively the same. 65-120 fleet on average, 10-25 on planets, etc. There is no reason free transfers shouldn't be allowed...other to appease shareholders.
  11. Not to undermine your Legacy accomplishments Sir, but I don't understand why you'd be more concerned about losing it instead of your characters. Yes, I get it regarding its the sum of all your time etc, but!...Legacy isn't implemented yet. We don't know exactly how it's going to be. Yeah the theory of it is cool, but in the end it's the actual implementation of it that matters. SWTOR and all the theories before release was incredible, but I think BW dropped the ball in alot of areas. Not bashing the game, alot of things I like, but it doesn't dismiss the fact they got alot of things wrong. How would you feel if BW took you up on your offer about ditching your toons and keeping the Legacy.....and the cool concept flopped. Just basically saying careful what you wish for brother.
  12. TBH I'm skeptical of the 1.7 million statistic. I've rolled on 4-5 servers and population is about equal, fleet @50-75 prime, other planets roughly 20-40. Do the math, even if there were 100 servers (which I don't believe there is), that would mean in average 17000 players/server. Just for giggles, bump prime time #'s times 20 and it's still a far cry from 17000 people on that server. I understand that's not reflecting low times. Low times are like 20-40@fleet,10-20 per planet. Of course double those numbers for opposite faction. I just don't see it. Anyone else notice screen shots of other peoples servers how there's typically around 100 people on fleet? Heck make it 2k people on fleet (x2 for other faction), throw a few thousand on planets, a couple thousand doing ops and it's still far off. Not to mention on all the toons I've played I can count on one how many of the other faction players I bump into on mid-level planets. Am I missing something? Someone please enlighten me. I mean I'm sure a company wouldn't fudge numbers to appease shareholders... Love the game that doesn't mean I'm blind.
  13. That's what I'm saying. Make prime numbers 1000 on fleet, 200/planet, 300 in raids etc., double opposing faction and you're still a far cry from an average of 17000 players on that server. I can't say for a fact that a server out there exists, but I don't believe so. If there BW, tell me what one so I can stop trying to find a populated server.
