  1. Why do you put yourself through this punishment? Leave the game. This guy has been reported for 3 seasons now, and nothing has happened to him. Boycott the game and they will have no choice but to fix it. If they gave a damn about ranked PVP in the first place, Season 9 would have an end date and rewards posted. I finally went Free-to-Play last month after paying a sub since beta. Why should I be loyal if that loyalty isn't reciprocated?
  2. Funny you mention this because I play assassin and shadow and I notice that the animations/abilities on my shadow feel like they take longer to get off. Could just be me...
  3. It must be. There's no way developers could care so little.
  4. Devs don't care about rpvp. It's blatantly obvious. I submitted at least 20 tickets for that same Harb individual and nothing. I even submitted for the language he uses while throwing matches... and nothing. The simple fact that the ranked seasons run on for over half a year with no end in sight should tell you something. This game is on auto pilot.
  5. Exactly. There's a reason why SWTOR ranked isn't in a league. It's too bad too because SWTOR has the best PVP mechanic that I've ever played.
  6. If you say rating doesn't matter, you're lying to yourself and everybody else. We ALL want the new shiny rewards to show-off and brag about. That's why we play ranked. ...but the ranked elo system is trash, plain and simple. If you luck up and get decent groups in your initial games, you go up in elo and then the system groups you with people of like elo. Eventually you will more often than not get the better team every queue and your elo continues to go up. For the ones that had throwers and daily/weekly queuers their initial matches, they start with a lower elo and are thereby grouped with others of lower elo and have an almost impossible chance of ever leaving that elo "bracket." My main started out 1-9 and after 120 games, I still cannot get out of 1100 elo and I believe I play him very well. I always get the throwers and daily/weekly queuers. My alt started at 8-2 and is now over 1300. I often get a good team with him... even though I'm really not that good on him. The throwers are almost always on my opposing team.
  7. I agree. I think I'm done for good this time. I only played to do rpvp and throwers have all but ruined that... so yea.
  8. Logged in yesterday to find that the Legacy name I been using the last 3 years on 16 toons was swapped to a server with one toon I haven't played on in 3 years... and now I have to wait in queue to play? The entire situation is just more problem than its worth.
  9. I was in queue with 303 people before me. waited 10 mins and it got down to 280. Not playing tonight. Guess I'll play WoW.
  10. Irrational - not consistent with or using reason. or...playing a game mode that has not failed to disappoint consistently over the last 3+ years. PVP here will never be balanced because there is only an illusion of choice on the build of your character. Sure, you can choose which spec to play and augs to outfit, but there is truly only one viable option or you will be severely disadvantaged. I quit playing PVP after the "ops hack" at the beginning of this season. GW2 arenas are way better, there is way more choice for viable builds, and the ranked rewards are much better.
  11. Love it! Always pops and way more choice in character set-up. WvW is nice if you just want that PVP "story mode" and arenas rock. I have a guild there with a bunch of SWTOR rejects. Season 3 starts soon. I think people here have Stockholm Syndrome. I was one of those; now I know that the game isn't supposed to be this imbalanced and the Devs should respond in less than 1 month of serious complaints. Anyways...GL with WZs full of sorcs, jugs, and ops.
  12. Agree or not (and not to take away from the op's obvious exploitation), the bubble through acid is an exploit and deserves no place in Ranked. True, other than the healer/tank matches, most do not go to acid. However, even one match where you lose because you don't have a teammate with acid auto-win is one too many.
  13. Like you, I stuck around in anticipation of S7 only to be disappointed. However, for me, the ops exploit was merely the tip of the iceberg. I unsubbed yesterday and will remain unsubbed until Ranked PVP is addressed in its entirety.
