I think it depends on what you want to do. You might be able to specialize Immortal tank as a Juggernaut and use Vette to boost your damage, but she doesn't have any ability to heal so you really would have to gear her up to burn down enemies fast. Using a healer generally gives me better survivability and less downtime but it takes a little longer to defeat MOBs.

I just did this one tonight. Sniper, Sorcerer and two Juggernauts. The strat that seemed to work for us was to burn down the Sentinel and then the Consular. Then we took the Trooper down to like 5% and then the Smuggler down to 5% and basically finished them at the same time to avoid the mega rage damage boost. It helps if you can take turns taunting the Sentinel so she doesn't fly around the room hitting your healer. Main tank needs to keep aggro up on the ranged MOBs with AOE.
I suppose you could try to have each party member duel each enemy and try to kill them at the same time but without CC that might get hairy for squishy classes or healers.
We didn't get any loot for that fight and I couldn't tell if it was bugged or not. It looked like there was a chest but it was dead.

Pssht whatever. Last night I solo'd a lvl 15 Fallen Lord Champion that had 13500 health and my guy was only lvl 18. Maybe you should try playing Juggernaut

I've done every Heroic and Flashpoint I've come across (some multiple times) and I've never had any trouble finding people to group with. The reason it feels like a ORPG to you is probably because you are rushing through it and not trying to group with people.

You are quite simply ahead of the pack. You should be happy you have gotten so far during Early Access, you won't have to deal with the massive crowds on the first two planets come launch.

I disagree. I think the difficulty level is fine-tuned. You need to use strategy to beat group missions at-level. It helps to have both a tank and a healer in your group. Mark targets and use focus fire. Use abilities wisely -don't hit enemies that are stunned/controlled with area damage attacks (it breaks them out of stun). You have to learn to work as a team to beat heroics -trust me, it only gets harder as you get to higher levels.

It seems they changed this quest, it no longer starts at a dropbox, you have to physically go to Hadra's area of the map and it automatically gives you the mission.
Able to loot things you cant use is stupid fix it now
