  1. ME1 was closer to an RPG though. ME2 was too much of a shooter for me (plus they came up with a way to replace infinite ammo with the ever present "heat clips" which weakens the game for me). I also preferred ME1 due to the game having more superfluity to explore and a mysterious "star trek" type atmosphere while the second felt like "star wars" with the lower-tech vibe. Also the second took out the MAKO and replaced it with "scan from orbit" . . . . ***!?! it shortened the perceived game length tenfold and turned the game into a too quick experience.
  2. I posted a Thread in CC suggestions for new decorations. Feel free to add to both. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=785230&page=1&pp=10
  3. Here is a thread I made with ideas: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=785230&page=1&pp=10
  4. Some items from the Ships which would go well in a stronghold might be the head-in-a-jar (GUARANTEED best seller) and the med bay screen from the smuggler ship. https://biobreak.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/headjar.jpg?w=584 AND The monitor above the Hospital bed in the smuggler ship (eighth picture). http://torwars.com/first-look-smuggler-starship-corellian-xs-freighter/
  5. I had an idea. I know that you can buy twin stools, but what about individual ones? This might be a prime candidate for the craftable vendors though as the twin stools are already for sale. Another improvement for the cantina might be found in longer bars. I mean the actual bar - http://tor-decorating.com/arrangement-vendor-stall/ Not the shelving but the bar would be useful, or perhaps even a wraparound bar like the one in Nemro's Palace. http://www.ddmsrealm.com/wp-content/gallery/tor-hutta/ddmsrealm-star-wars-hutta-nemros-cantina.jpg This would be a great centerpiece type item and of great use in the Nar Shaddaa stronghold. EDIT: ON a related note, a copy of the journal of Xenomedicine on a Cafe or Coffee table would make a fun gag - as a "coffee table book" and it would be interesting if the Doc commented on it http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Journal_of_Xenomedicine
  6. Oh, I just saw this pic: http://www.jumpstationz.com/gallery/ToR/screenshots/NarKioskDatacron.png and wonder if the holo sign across the street could be added? The one stemming from a light pole and covering the entire street. Also, there are quite a few holo placards like that yellow one which could be added to the game. EDIT: I just noticed that elevator in the background. It seems to take up a medium to large space and clip the sides. Could an item like that be added to our strongholds? hinting at inaccessible levels perhaps?
  7. Perhaps additions could be made of computer terminals and consoles. This example is everywhere, but present here is this one at 8:59 On Alderran in the house alde library- though present nearly everywhere. And the other terminal design seen when it is accessed at the end of the Black hole Area quest.
  8. Now that models exist for ACTUAL sith holocrons rather than the model for jedi holocrons. Is it possible to rescale the Holocron of Dread and the Holocron of Fear. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Nihilus'_holocron Perhaps keep the colors but change the model? It just seems silly to use a Jedi Holocron Model for a sith holocron.
  9. -Another idea might be dark honor guard like the ones on Korriban. http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121129165603/starwars/images/e/ec/Imperial_Guard_on_Korriban.png These are found at the Sith Academy entrance. -I would also suggest Hutt personnel to be added to the stronghold - perhaps able to sit on the Hutt lounger somehow. -Some other ideas might be smaller versions of the Holocron of Fear and Dread - ones small enough to fit in a small hook. AND additional ones - both small and large with different designs on the surface and existing designs with different colors. I would suggest Orange and Purple as well as Black/Gold as ideas.
  10. There is no ingame location that they are supposed to be set at. Yes, I know that there is a terminal which they can be accessed from - but I am referring to an ingame location which you can say AHA that is where the stronghold is. An idea might be a huge apartment complex right behind an elevator which you can say "that is where my stronghold is - somewhere in there." Or a Taxi on Nar Shaddaa which immediately takes you to your stronghold. These simple details are what make the game feel more lived in and less manufactured - just a simple change to make the game better.
  11. I just had an idea while replaying old quests on alts. It seems that npc's in the game (with the exception of the dread masters) need an update in their appearance as they all have lower quality ones from launch. The Cyborgs in particular could use some updates - Darth skotia could look MUCH better if kitted out in newer implants from the cartel market. I think just about every cyborg in the game could be touched up and have newer enhancements added. Another idea might be to add Cartel market items like the eradicator set to NPC sith throughout the game as the standard armor for Marauders and NPC guards - it would make it more fun to wear if my character wasn't the only one with a complete set (versus the perverse aberrations many players favor with pink and purple dye or mix and match.) I have seen a variant worn by a jedi master in Kuat Drive Yards FP but that isn't quite the same thing (and I personally dislike seeing that armor on him now that temple garb is available).
  12. I agree, it would look nice to see many of the Cartel items on npc's.
  13. Another idea would be a stationary Darth Malgus and Satele Shan Holo trainer. (as well as a Dr. Oggurubb) as a utility item. We already have the temporary versions but this would make for an interesting visual if put in front of a holo projecting device.
  14. anyone mention the dark jedi armor warn by them in kotor? http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090925213325/starwars/images/b/b6/BandonsLastStandOnManaan-KOTOR.jpg You can kinda get the hood on some of the bounty hunter sets. A set of this would be nice though.
  15. OH and another idea might be adding new hooks to existing objects. Some examples are the security camera and the Holoprojection device. The holoprojection device could easily fit into a small floor hook. http://tor-decorating.com/holoprojection-device/ The security camera really needs a small wall hook as an option - to make it a bit more covert. If you have to resize it that would be even better. I bought 6 of these (intending to buy 12 - one for every room) until I saw they were medium hooks. I would suggest adding small hooks to build up interest and sell more of these.
  16. I was thinking of personnel and it hit me - just add generic individuals of every species for instance generic civilian human, generic civilian aliens, etc. Just need lots of options to fill a cantina like in the original Mos Isle cantina scene.
  17. -Some more ideas would be some holo terminals such as this one on tatooine, they are also found on Nal Hutta: http://www.swtor-spy.com/img/quest_images/1044/The_Hunted_1_2_1_swtor_2011_11_26_08_06_25_448.jpg -Some police speeders such as the one on Dromund Kaas: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mmHzAjRGUK8/TefKzNjrfeI/AAAAAAAAE7g/JoUNeJmkVe8/s1600/swtor+Dromund+Kaas.jpg Or the ones on Cademimu: Can't find pic - they are in the FP near the beginning and throughout. -This large Holo-Globe from the Jedi Temple on Tython: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vvDXsFlOqjM/UlWntmaywBI/AAAAAAAADO8/RawYEpLcMoQ/w1598-h947-no/Screenshot_2013-10-09_14_23_24_567896.jpg -This statue from Maanan, it is near the entryway and above the ground, we don't have enough statue options so here is one: https://mcsluethgaming.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/vmpa08d.jpg
  18. There is a Pazaak table, about the same size as the dejarik table, in Nemro's suite on Nal Hutta. You encounter it as an imperial agent. This would be a nice addition to the cartel Market. Additionally, I have noticed that there are no trash cans available for decorating a stronghold. Many different examples exist on Coruscant and Corellia for models - this would also be a useful addition to the strongholds. An idea might be that with a trashcan, you can throw out objects by clicking on it and clicking the objects - just a neat way to make the game more RP friendly.
  19. LOL, in FACT it was assured at launch that if you didn't or coudn't group that your gameplay would be unaffected- UNLIKE WOW, that was a PROMISE.
  20. Um...No, that goes against the whole premise of a bound item- and ruins the exclusivity which we payed for with the $150 version of the game.
  21. What I mean would be a flooring change- metal to wood, or stone or something of that nature. Additionally some ideas could be painting walls, changing texture etc. so that every stronghold doesn't look so cookie cutter. Just a fun idea.
  22. The dark jedi from Kotor 1 has been on my wish list for a while. http://firsthour.net/screenshots/knights-of-the-old-republic/knights-of-the-old-republic-sith-apprentices.jpg
  23. SO my pet peeve is that the screens to enter our strongholds break immersion. Is it possible to add an ingame door or elevator to a building as a way to enter those apartments? Also a taxi on nar shadaa and tatooine could be utilized to access those strongholds- These are just ideas for ways to transport players to strongholds in ways that make the new content feel more cohesive and less like an immersion breaking addon. Thank you
  24. read Dawn of the jedi, everything you say is proven...false.
  25. Re written? It's established cannon that the jedi went back to korriban, ziost, etc, and annihilated every sith that didn't go with vitiate.
