  2. More bone headed Bioware problems. Really running the script and the time involved wasn't factored in. sometimes I think they are working out of someones basement.
  3. Lets hope they are not pulling resources from fixing Flash points and actually putting in drops that are better than quested gear. but yeah for cash shop. Oh yeah I'm bitter.
  4. This expansion is an over all disappointment in regards to content. the risk vs reward for group content and even operations is back wards. Once again not worth doing. The over all size for a paid expansion is about 1/3 of what it should be. The one thing they seem to have have made work is the class changes. Over all they are done well. In conclusion there is no reason to log in after you augment and outfit your characters in 186 gear.
  5. The problem is not tactics or CC. Its the raw damage to healing output. DPs is close to what I would expect. Everyone including full 186 augmented tanks are way to squishy. Its just not fun to wipe 20 times spending hours doing a flash point. If you want a challenging mode then they can make some night mare flash points. Don't make the entry level group finder flash points where fully geared people cant finish it. I am happy that some people are able to complete them but be honest how long did it take and how many wipes did you have? No thanks for me.

  7. its simple tank dps is on par or higher then regular dps on equal geared War Hero level. Why bother be DPS when I got a ton of tools to defend on top of ubar DPS as a tank.
  8. I have been saying this about all the tank classes, why be a pure dps at all. Tanks are better in many ways for the defend to win style of WZ we have. Dont even talk about how good all the tanks are in Huttball. Dps isnt everything its about who gets the kills. DPs tanks can kill just as fast or faster then even geared dps and they can survive much longer to call for help.
  9. DPS tanks to as much or more damage in WZ then pure dps. The main reason is that they still have several tank abilities and some natural defense and can sill out dps a dps class. this might not be much but a well played dps tank is better in so many ways to pure. Why be a pure dps. All you trolls that want to explain this as ae vr single target and all kinds of other bs I run with dps tanks that hit 500k damage regularly.
  10. I love trolls trying so hard to show how much smarter they are than the poster. Attacking the format or grammar then the debating the content. I am sorry I didn't make a spread sheet format for all you stat geeks. I know how RNG works hence the part about the ratio getting worse not better. Like this sentence it was more then 3 sentences in so it was probably not read by the trolls. With out the metrics from Bioware we will never know all I was trying to point out is that the drop rate has changed for the worse. I am sorry if that somehow offends some people.
  11. Sometime in the last few weeks the drop rate has been reduced it is no longer 1 in 4. My guild mates and I have been keeping track and we have a sample size of ~325 bags. The drop rate is approaching 1 in 7 and increasing. If it was just a statistical error or small sample size the ratio should be narrowing but its not. It probably a moot argument with the 1.2 changes. I am really angry that I am supposed to run 45-50 Wz's to get 1 Bm comm and maybe get 1-2 per week from all the weekly dailies. The net result is far less then the 4-6 people got per week before the (hidden) change. Another reason to not play and wait for 1.2.
  12. I fear only a few players and I have no class that i cant beat. Assassin are a joke to my scoundrel I let them get the opener most of the time so I don't have to look for them. Their burst damage is meh.
  13. I am happy for all you peeps that have gotten good ratios 2/5 or better. I am 2 for 20 bags and I know others that have worse ratio then that. I am Valor rank 65 with 2 BM comm drops what bs is that.
  14. I have been posing at least once a week about this. Its mostly a symptom of population imbalance. Most like 1-3 people dont join the game when it starts. But I have been playing since release and republic gets a ridiculous amount of teams where there are only 6 and stays 6 till the end. This once happened 4 times in a row with all but one of the same people in the team. I would be very upset if BIOWARE starts a game with just 6 players on 8 and nothing else. how hard is it to have a 2 step system where it asks everyone a game is about to start are you still interested. Then it loads those who are ready and dumps those that are not and asks replacements.
  15. Imperials will say there is no population problem. We win lopsided starting WZ matches and own Ilum 80% of the time due to our "awesomeness". Cool info but still doesn't mean BIOWARE will even try to address it. I bet will be getting worse since empire can at least do one of their dailies where REpubs cant do any. To bad you lost a lot of players all ready.
  16. Its BIOWARES fault for not even trying to address it with a token valor buff. I have quit trying to pvp except when i have a full guild group. The last 4 days in the mornings there has been 8 matches where we started with 6 and never gained one person. Its the fact they let it go so long that empire has alts that are more geared then people mains. I wanted to believe in this game but I am leaning towards leaving like so many have. There are so many things bugs and intended game play that favor Empire its just laughable. Cue the empire troll saying " it happened to me once 3 weeks ago so its the same for us"

  18. Its just coincidence the same 6 guys were in the WZ in a row. your logic demands that that 2 other people didn't que 3 times in a row. This also happens most days on the times I play. What data do you have for it not being possible? At least i have observation you have your opinion. I don't read sigs they are generally used by people with low self esteem that need some label to show how good they think they are.
  19. You are new I guess WZ can in fact start with just 6 you don't need 8 in the que. you might know this if you didn't play on the side that never has this issue. A 2 man advantage in the 50 bracket is huge. Most of the WZ are defensive games so who ever gets the lead wins 90% of the time. Most empire players never know this they just think they are that good. YES IT IS BIOWARES fault favoring the more populated side in several ways with out even a valor buff for the underdog,
  20. it seems that the bug where empire starts getting tics the second they capture is still in effect. I love the statement of how certain conditions can lead to this. YEAH LIKE CAPTURE every time. I have lost several games down to the wire that should have been wins. I can list a bunch of bugs and things that favor empire can we at least fix this glaring issue.

    Unfair balance

    Regardless of the reason its not fair for the Emps to get free wins with out any effort. And to those that say it happens on both sides I say this. It happens at least 1/3 of the matches I play. It takes me around 8-12 matches to get my daily done. I give up in frustration most days after 6 losses and 5 of those short handed. I know emp people working on battle master sets for their alts now. WE have mains that cant get battle master. Its a problem that's ignored and I know several people that have quit over it.
  23. Dont misinterpret my post as a general I hate to lose thread. Its about the fact that there is a clear incentive for being on the over populated side. Its there we all know it. You can nit pick the details. This imbalance alone constitutes a power shift. This power shift allows the overpopulated side to get gear quicker and to more players further shifting the power. There isn't even an attempt at balance that is my beaf with BIOWARE.
  24. I just played a voidstar WZ where we had 6 they had 8. WE almost got to the datacore. WE would have beat them soundly if we had 8 people but this WZ short handed BS is getting old. ITs very demoralizing to lose over an over to imbalance issues.
  25. My friends list is rarely lit any more with people that pvp. Once in a while we can muster a op in prime time to push ilum. But the fact that there are about 2 to 1 empire side means that the gear gap widens and widens. Its easier for Empire to do dailies. Ilum is over run 80% of the time. Its easier for empire to win warzones when republic starts short handed about 50% of the time. Empire should thank Bioware for free wins. I know 5 people that have quit over these issues and I know 3 more then switched to empire. My guild has quit the level 50 pvp bracket all together. We do 1-49 when no raiding. Its a death spiral if Bioware does not address this issue. At least give the side with less people a bonus to valor and at best give them a increase in the bolster.
