  1. Guys, this is the mythic team gone bioware. They let warhammer fester in HORRIBLE bugs for over a year all while trying to push out a lack luster expansion asap. It's not looking to be any different here. Edit: Warhammer still festers in horrible bugs that have yet to be addressed since it's 2007 launch.
  2. I just read it and my lord what evasive language. Bioware must be college educated being able to go on that long without saying ANYTHING of substance.
  3. So if you get outnumbered you're never getting points then. Guess republics' **** outta luck eh?
  4. Imagine us who dropped money for 3 months to be met with...well this. What a waste of the IP, eh?
  5. Then wow must already be dead. It's had complainers since it's launch.
  6. How's losing even more subscribers sound? They've already bled a good portion of their touted "Over 1 million subs" in just a month. Tor status points to more around 600k now and dropping daily. Consequences are already taking place, and quickly I might add.
  7. It doesn't change the fact that they have three months to get it together. That's how long MMO's have these days to impress the world, otherwise it's sub 300,000 players for it's lifetime and only small/moderate success.
  8. Vet of nearly 8 years. The people picking up their first MMO need to listen to us veterans--they don't know any better. TOR is floundering--there's no way around it. And to those thinking anyone that posts a valid criticism is immediately a troll...seriously? Us so called "Trolls" are criticizing the game because we're bigger fans than you'll ever be. Instead of blindly believing that everything will be ok, we take it upon ourselves to let the developers know every single day when they are under-performing. We want something better than what we've been given, and we expect better things, as we should, since we're long time bioware fans and we can't stand to see them dropping the ball so badly on such a beloved IP. You can't understand what it's like--watching your once favorite developer turn into this. It's nothing short of heartbreaking.
  9. In a perfect world we wouldn't have to voice concerns, but if we didn't speak up in masse who knows, we may have gotten Part 2-3-4-5-6-7 of Rakghouls in space instead of basic bug and mechanic fixes.
  10. I know I am. I'm hoping bioware gets things together sooner than later, but as for right now I'm locked in for three months. I play, sure, but I'm not thrilled--I'm mainly just on standby watching to see if bioware puts their priorities in the right place and fixes what needs to be fixed.
  11. For many people Bioware has until March to get their game together, myself included. People can only tolerate a buggy, laggy, basically botched mess so long.
  12. What? Where did that come from? Educate yourself please, WAR made the exact same mistake at launch as TOR devs are and look at where that game is. The negative press of closing down or merging servers before the 6 month mark is REALLY bad press. I just want to know why this mistake was made twice.
  13. What do you know, the mythic team hired for swtor went too crazy with the servers at launch. Now they're going to have to deal with the terrible press (AGAIN) of merging serves to all probability of less than half of what we have now. It's like watching the past, happen yet again. Don't people learn?
  14. Few minutes? Buddy, I'd never turn on my light saber again, heck, I'd graft it to the racer to take out annoying opponents. My every waking moment and my subscription money would all go to this single feature.
  15. If you didn't grow up playing Pod Racer for N64 then please understand that you just don't get where us "Yes for pod racing" fans are coming from.
  16. Would you build your own racer and race other players? Perhaps become infamous on the hoth circuit for running down Wampas? Would you instead of spending weeks building your pod, bet on the races and make thousands of credits? I could see myself blowing huge amounts of time on this.
  17. I'm just wondering where the original Sentinel went. Where did the tech jedi go? It was a very different playstyle than Consular or Guardian and I miss it. Why was the original sentinel scrapped and absorbed into the Guardian? If anyone has any insight please speak up.
  18. Seriously, I may cry if nobody here knows what I'm talking about. Did nobody play KOTOR 1 or 2?
  19. People are complaining about the long time it takes to get from planet to planet. I have reached a compromise that I think would be very fair. If you complete your class quests on a planet you receive a Planet Pass for that planet. The pass functions much like the Emergency Fleet Pass and is located in your general tab. The cooldown would be 5 hours.
  20. Bioware is dealing with a very slippery slope here. If they allow instant travel between planets people will expect instant travel everywhere. The next batch of complaints would be there's no traveling and the game is all teleporting place to place. They could reach a compromise with planet hearths. If you complete you class quest line on a planet you recieve a skill, very similar to Emergency Fleet Pass in your general tab. The cooldown would be 5 hours and it allows you to instantly hearth to any class completed planet. That seems fair to me.
  21. Anyone disappointed at this? When I played KOTOR 1 and 2 I fell in love with the Sentinel-a jedi that was a wiz at slicing doors, hacking turrets, and causing overall electronic havoc. I'm sad that the Sentinel in TOR is just a dual wielding Guardian--I miss my yellow lightsaber techie.
  22. Any online Ace Combat and Eve online at frigate level. If everyone's a frigate it's just orbit as close as possible and keep firing. Only difference here is that you have to have your enemy in front of you in TOR unlike the full range of firing you have in EVE, so you're forced into circles and loops.
