Ruebacca Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Wookiees!!! Some tool convinced Lucas Arts that Wookiee players in SWG received too much grief from other players. That is so much BS. Wookiees got a good ribbing that was no more harmless than Polish jokes. Imps and Trandos are supposed to hate Wookiees as part of the content from the Starwars books. Most of the ribbing was on the forums not in-game. In this game Imps and Repubs can't grief each other anyway. In SWG many imps had wookiee alts. Add Wookiees 5-10% of Imps will go repub. You want to boost Republican player populations: Add Playable Wookiee Troopers! EA, LA and Bioware. Want to make more money: Add Playable Wookiee Troopers! In SWG the best way to handle wookiee armor was to let the Wookiees equip faction armor but make it non observable. So the Wookiee would always be seen in fur. As for the bowcaster just say it's had not been invented yet. All you need is to add Wookiee skins. It would not be hard. The Imps out populate the republic because the Imps have an edge on Iconic characters. The Iconic balance would be helped greatly by playable wookiees. psadd trando BH's too. ps psthe game has had a fantastic launch. i am loving it. Having a normal voice wouldn't work, but would anyone want to listen to hundreds of hours of NERRAAAGGHH AAAGGGHHHHAAAGGGG? Well... maybe.... it does has a certain charm to it.
