Recruitment Sith Acolytes/Apprentices: Open Sith Lords: Open Darths: Open Imperial Military: Open Contractors/Mercs: Open Citizens: Open Mandos: Open Underworld Characters: Open RP Style: Heavy RP Guild scheduled rp events: ~3-6 per week. RP Event Types: Light to Heavy Combat; Training; Intrigue; Scientific; Political; Legal/Philosophical; Social, Underworld. Who is allowed to run RP?: Everyone. Any Guild Member may create rp or DM events or campaigns of their own creation! Guild Size: Small, with ~5-15 players on at any one time. Guild Timezone Activity: The guild has US and EU players who are active at various times. Answers to FAQ's The Adumbrate has a rich backstory. This backstory of intrigue and conspiracy is revealed slowly to characters through rp. We've run for almost five years without a break or hiatus, and we've never done a lore wipe of any kind. Our lore runs deep in unbroken succession. The Adumbrate has representatives from many spheres. We serve the Empire through the sphere of Sith Doctrine, but also have heavy influences and events through the other spheres of the Empire, allowing expansive and interesting events and plots for characters of all expertise and interests. The Adumbrate is a small guild. We want quality over quantity, and a logical flow of story throughout the guild. The Academy of the Adumbrate is a Mature 19+ Heavy RP Guild. Our plots usually have great depth, and we do not shy away from darker stories. We accept new and seasoned characters. While we are accepting of all kinds of characters, we are diligent in making sure our guild is not a parking lot for alts who only play sporadically or hinder our rp by having priorities different than ours. It is important that people take the responsibility of their roleplay with others seriously to foster a quality experience for everyone. In-depth events and plots. We work to make each event in an arc available to everyone, inside or outside the guild, through the proliferation of easily accessible IC information so your character can find a reason to participate. A place to play out your story. We encourage our members to construct, world-build, and DM if it's something they want to do. Character development for your character of any rank/type/level. We weave personal character stories into our guild rp to make sure every character has an impact, as character agency is very important to our roleplay. Non-force users, soldiers, Mandos, slaves, citizens, Sith, even antagonist characters...we will develop arcs and events surrounding the characters. We focus on each character's narrative power to push on the story. An authentic and well-structured Sith Master/Apprenticeship experience.
