what about the weapons

Hi, i know will be able to mix and match abilities but what about mixing weapons? as using a double bladed light saber as a Sentinel/ Marauder would be pretty damn fun .

That is what everyone wanted. To be a Sith Warrior who used a double-bladed lightsaber.

 

Instead, you're going to play through the Sith Warrior storyline as a Sith Assassin with a double-bladed lightsaber and all assassin abilities.

 

It's understandable from a technical standpoint, as changing animations is significantly more work.

Honestly, I'm fine with the swapping of playstyles as it would require too much animation changes to do it the other way, I'm not so happy with the ability pruning they have decided to do.

This frees up Advanced Class options as characters can choose any Advanced Class within the Tech or Force playstyle! Play as a Trooper wielding a Sniper Rifle, or a Sith Inquisitor with a lightsaber in each hand, or even secretly use Dark Side powers while posing as a member of the Jedi Order. Loadouts will increase your ability to customize, allowing you to swap between playstyles and gear with a click.

 

I just tried today to be a trooper with a sniper. Doesn't seem possible.

90% of the animations for blasters use a single pistol anyway, not your actual main weapon.

This is really disappointing as it was the primary reason i wanted to play this expansion
