turbomagnus
Over the last couple years, we've gotten quite a few "Mandalorian"-inspired CM items; Infamous Bounty Hunter armor, Discharged Infantry armor, Amban-7 blaster rifle and so forth. It's not uncommon for modified and recolored versions of already existing armor to be created - Galvanised and Energized Infantry armor sets, or Havoc Specialist and Crimson Riot armor sets, for examples - and earlier tonight I noticed something interesting about the already existing Havoc Officer's chestpiece... It would form a very nice basis for a Cobb Vanth-inspired version of Mandalorian armor; it has plastron and pauldrons, a scarf around the neck even if it's not currently the right color, all that it would really need is the Havoc insignia removed, the armor given the appropriate colors, and possibly a backpack added to the back. Then it would just be a matter of appropriate other pieces added to create a set, "Beskar-Armored Marshal" or something for a name.
JediQuaker
Personally, I'd rather they concentrate on "Star Wars" rather than "The Mandalorian". 🙂
turbomagnus
Off-topic response: Hey, ever since "Firefly" was cancelled, I had to get my space-western fix somewhere. On-topic response: Seriously, though, the big thing is that the Havoc Officer armor, especially the chest, is a great armor, but it's limited to a degree by those big Havoc insignia on the shoulders getting in the way of it being non-immersion-breaking if used by anything other than a Trooper. While I admit that I can't help but think it looks like Cobb Vanth in Boba Fett's armor, my main want is a version without the insignia...
Vinth
We need both a Cobb variant, and the new Fett look aswell.
JediQuaker
Off-topic response: Hey, ever since "Firefly" was cancelled, I had to get my space-western fix somewhere. Note - none of the main characters in Firefly wore anything like Mandalorian armor. 😁 Frankly, I wish the armor(s) in SWTOR were more like what the classic characters in Star Wars and Firefly wore, and less Mandalorian.
