Can the Jedi Knight be older than late teens/early 20s at the start of the game?

I want to rp a Knight that was a smuggler for years before being discovered, so he's probably in his 30s at the beginning of the game. Does that fit at all, or does it contradict how the characters supposed to be?

There is no canonical age for any of the classes, so you can RP your characters at pretty much any age. Whilst it is assumed that the Jedi classes are on the younger side only the Consular is implied to be young for their accomplishments. For myself, my main, a Consular, was 16 at the start of their story, but I have a Smuggler that was in their 30's at the start of their's.
