In large capitalist societies people are raised to believe money grants entitlement.

That doesn't just happen in such societies. People can have entitlement mentality regardless. Besides, there are probably lots of CE owners busy with RL things and will play when they get to it; like me.

And in large socialist societies people are raised to believe that being able to breath grants entitlement, lol I'm just playing

I came from a family that lived off $10k a year, sometimes didn't have water, heat, or electricity I've experienced loss and don't feel entitled. In my big capitalist society.

Will I be able to play after launch? I have to wait for my physical copy to arrive, so forgive me for wanting the extra day. Providing that I can't play until my game is delivered.

sorry to inform you :( once the 20th arrives you wont be able to log in until you activate your account with a game code of some sort .. until you get your physical copy that just won't happen

as far as i know you payed the same a mount for the game like anyone. the rest of that money was spend on little pixel droids and a statue of a sith and whatnot. just cause you get the CE doesnt mean you get more rights

I increased bioware's profit margin more than a standard buyer.

Usually businesses favor clients that give them more money, ie "earlier" access. I just wanted to know the opinions of other CE buyers. Although I do love the hate from the people who couldn't/didn't want to afford the CE, hating on me just cause I have it:D

CE owners purchased real life tangible trinkets and access to CE ingame store. Nothing more. Asking for anything in excess of what you paid for is basically unreasonable imho.

That's actually pretty dumb for a business because the guy that is spending 5 dollars today might spend 50 thousand next year

Do you think Bioware's actual cost is anything close to what people paid? Most of the items provided are trivial. Plenty of businesses offer a rewards based program for their frequent (read: people who spend more) customers. Just saying.

I think most people are completely missing the point. I pre-ordered the CE and didn't expect to get different treatment or priority for the early game access. However, what I did expect was to not having to wait to have the physical box (for the code) to access the game.

First day is the 20th, you're good.

The people playing the game now seem to be proving you wrong.

Just because the cosmetic, game-in-stores release date is the 20th, don't think this isn't the release date. It is.

If you can read, on the launcher itself, it says "LAUNCHING" the game. Thanks for playing, skip.

want to hear the biggest piss off of all.

its BS about the pre-order date and when they are letting you in because a guy in my guild got invited today and he only registered his pre-order last week. and he hasnt even downloaded the game. he doesnt even really like the game..

thats the biggest thing that ticked me off about all this today......

I bought ce and got in on first day why because I bought it within 5 mins of it coming out it is done by order that you preordered they said it would be why is this so hard to understand its better then a random draw as it actually rewards those who have been waiting for the game forever as they preordered on the first or 2nd day.

I canceled my CE and bought the digital version because of this. That's the sound of a hundie vaporizing.

realistically paying 150 for the CE is silly..you get a bunch of toys for the extra dough and the only in game item that matters from the CE is the vendor probably...so no real point in buying it unless you're an actual collector anyways.

So is amazon going to send me the key early? If you ordered your copy online how will you be playing on in-store launch date?
