Downgrade to the basic medpacs

I was checking biochem for the stat stims, and doublechecked the medpacs as well.

 

What I found was that medpacs have been severly nerfed on the pts compared to live. I'm not sure why.

 

Currently on live with a level 70 we get:

 

Advanced polybiotic medpac item level 102 (the purple crafted tier 10)

37255-44545 hitpoints healed with an additional 11136 over 15s

 

The best medpac you can buy from the vendor is:

Premium Polybiotic Medpac

18628-22677 hitpoints healed with an additional 7087 over 0s

 

 

On the PTS we get at level 75 : (remember that our hitpoints are nearly double at max level on the pts as compared to live)

 

Advanced polybiotic medpac item level 102 (the purple crafted tier 10)

 

24707-29541 hitpoints healed with an additional 7385 over 15s

 

The best medpac you can buy from the vendor is:

 

Premium Kryprax Medpac

 

21871-26625 hitpoints healed with an additional 8320 over 0s

 

This means that with the increase in hitpoints the effectiveness of basic medpacs is almost halved on the pts compared to live.

 

I don't know what the purpose of this nerf to medpacs is, except to artificially increase difficulties levels, especially for solo players, and to really ruin one of the major advantages of playing a stealth class which is being able to use multiple medpacs in a long fight.
