Vonkickten Posted December 30, 2011 Share Posted December 30, 2011 Most of the time the easiest thing to do is find one that matches the color scheme you want and then adapt it to your needs. If you have a good theme with base colors that you want, you can do a lot with a decent logo and some picture swapping. Also, what do you want have on the website? Do you need forums? If you need multiple pages, make sure your chosen theme supports it and has enough menu space to fit all the pages (or the ability to have a dropdown menu to put some the pages in). You can do a lot with a WordPress site with a bit of effort. As far as recommendations, you may want to start out with a free one. The one that YuiRhine linked looks like a good one to start out with. Just switching out the large logo and background would make for a decent site. Also look at the theme database at wordpress.org (searching by color is a good way to go about it). Here is an example, if you want to go with a darker theme: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/my-depressive. Just remember to look at a theme in terms of how you can easily modify it. It also acts as the user manager so that other CMS's I use on our site calls the user table from wordpress to login users. http://holonet.thearmyoflight.com/ I will surly link to other sites using wordpress! The trick is to make it not LOOK like a wordpress site, lol. So many people use Enjin... they don't know WHAT they are missing out on. *UPDATE: 7/20/12 - 7/21/12 our webhost's datacenter has been down due to a power outage and should be online in a couple of hours.
