From a casual glance on google and asking innocent questions of friends it is a system common to a lot of MMOs and MMORPGs out there. How do other games do it though, where did it start and what possibly can we look forward to with the swtor version? So many questions, I know. But I'm super curious now. Andryah Posted September 5, 2018 Share Posted September 5, 2018 It's been around for close to 20 years though different games approach it differently. Just a guess...but for SWTOR.. I bet this allows you to place an emblem on the front of your chest piece that is your guild herald (kind of like how the Havoc Squad emblem shows up on some Trooper gear). My preference would be to allow you to put it on capes/cloak (like DAoC did), but since capes are not actually a gear item in this MMO.. I doubt that will happen. I guess they could go full Samurai mode and let us all equip herald flags on poles strapped to our backs (or on our speeders/mounts). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
