Discussion/Opinion: Do you think TOR's post-launch story/lore is good?

I don't post or browse the forums often, so I'm sure there has been tons of threads like this, but what is your opinion on how the story of the TOR universe has developed since launch? I bring this question up because I recently began replaying the core game (meaning all the planet side quests and original 1-50 content) and I realized, to my surprise, that I am enjoying playing through the original planets significantly more than any of the KOTET/KOTFE content.

It's a tricky thing when people start talking about whether something has "the Star Wars feel", but it seems to me that some of the original content definitely had "it" much more than the new content does. I am not a hater of the new content, but it does at times seem to have that fan-fiction feel to it, in contrast to, for instance, the basic Hutta planet quests. I can't help but feel that Bioware initially had a very interesting story-telling sandbox to play in with the postbellum-galaxy, and for some reason or another simply veered in a completely different direction.

What is your opinion on how TOR's story has developed and progressed since launch (or even the story at launch)?
