A Heavy Military RP / PvE / PvP Guild

 

Who Are We?

 

The Iron Cross Brigade, more formally known as the 72nd Infantry Brigade, is a Heavy Military Role-Play Guild on the Ebon Hawk server. What this means is that we boast a military chain-of-command and use tactics and teamwork to achieve our goals. Primarily, we are a Heavy RP guild, and are always looking for role-players that're willing to become a part of a large family and work as a team, while partaking in a lore-friendly RP experience.

 

Aside from RP we participate in a wide-range of game content to include Flashpoints, Heroics, PvP Warzones, and much, much more.

 

What Is Our Story?

 

In the aftermath of the devastating war with Zakuul, both the Sith Empire and Galactic Republic were forced to rebuild. While the Empire faired better than their age-old enemies, still, there was considerable work to be done. Widely known for its strong and capable military, Empress Acina assigned several key military personnel to handle the reconstruction of the Imperial Military. Part of that reconstruction process saw the activation of the 72nd Infantry Brigade, known by the moniker "Iron Cross" for the cross made of iron that dominated the center of the Empire's insignia on their uniforms.

 

The Brigade falls under the auspices of the Imperial Army and answers to Imperial High Command and the Minister of War. In the short time that they've been around they have deployed to Nal Hutta to assist the Hutts with a renegade Evocii infestation in exchange for trade relations and freedom of movement through the recovering Hutt territory; to Quesh on request of the Hutts to evict a Republic force illegally mining Quesh Venom right under the noses of its rightful owners which, after an unprecedented attack by the Republic's military, forced the Sith Empire into a renewed conflict with their centuries' old enemies.

 

Now the Seventy-Second prepares for the battles that are to come.

What We're Looking For...

 

We are looking for role-players of the Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter classes that are interested in a fun, structured role-play guild that strives to remain friendly to lore and provide a unique gaming experience for its members. We are not the powerful Sith or secretive agents of the Empire, nor are we the likes of Special Forces. We are your every day soldiers fighting for the glory of the Empire and the preservation of its way of life.

 

In order to be a part of the Iron Cross Brigade, one must fifteen years of age or older, and be willing to register an account on our Community Website's forums. The guild utilizes the Voice Over IP (VOIP) service known as Discord for out-of-character communication during guild events and RP, as well as for social interaction whilst away from the game. Discord is a requirement for membership in the guild, but members have time before their first guild event to get it.

When Are Guild Events?

 

Main guild events occur on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (7:00 PM Central Standard). They usually run for about an hour to an hour and a half. However, outside of event hours, you will find members on throughout the week and there's always people in the Discord to chat with.
