LordTurin Posted May 2, 2017 Share Posted May 2, 2017 If you are serious about playing Commando in any group or difficult content, you should use a cannon. Not only will you lose some abilities, the cannon also does more damage so you are gimping yourself by not using it. Right now, while Assault does have higher potential, it is also much more difficult to play well; and Gunnery is not really having any problems meeting almost every dps check in the game. Honestly, I would stick with Gunnery for now unless you are serious about playing NiM content. Of course, if you enjoy assault more, play what you enjoy, but Gunnery will outperform Assault in most situations until you get to really high end stuff.
