  1. Since there are more and more guides for GftM, there are plenty of guides for every operation and all difficulties. Even if there may be a few nerfs here and there, the guides are still good. It hasnt changed much since the OPs launched.
  2. Well, first off, I consider myself as a feminist. I have heard people complaining about this game and its female/Male differences, and I do agree on some points. Though I have no problems with all the nearly naked outfits. Ofc its a bit of lore (Leia for example), and also that you can dress males in almost the same kind of ”almost nude-outfit”. Things that do trigger me is that its only females that can do sexy dances. Im thinking about all Twi’lek NPCs that are around in the Cantinas and in strongholds. I would like it to be equal there, with the same movements on both genders. Same goes for when you create a character. You cant choose a fat female. BT4 is just a bigger version of BT3, because every female ”need to look slim and sexy”, and males more macho and ”cool”. But in the end, Swtor is far from the worst game, and I still loves the game.
  3. I may have missunderstood the topic, that it was meant for pvp only. But pve-wise I have no idea what you talk about. You can bring both sin, jugg and PT dps to every single raid in the game. Jugg and PT will be in the top edge of most boss fight.
  4. Well, as people say, Isotopes drops from ops, pvp-boxes and FPs, aka group content. If you don’t want to do group content I cant see the reason why you should need Isotopes.
  5. Well, now Im only talking crew skills from a lvl 70 perspective, since its bascially cheaper to BUY good enough gear and medics when you are leveling. So.. from a lvl 70 perspective Cybertech and Biochem is the best. You can either RE implants/mods/earpieces you get in the crates, or you can use the schematics that drops. With a cybertech that have trained lethal mods and different enhancements you can gear up alts very fast to a low amount of credits. Ofc, Syntweaving is good aswell for the Augment crafting. Augments is pretty important to have if you are doing ops or PVP. If you are a solo-player, you really don’t have to bother much. TLDR; 1. Cybertech 2. Biochem 3. Synthweaving
  6. As title says, what do you guys expect from 5.5 and forward? Will there be a nerf for Deception? A small buff for Arsenal merc and other classes that were nerfed a bit hard? Will they do some balancing for tanks? Im just curious, and endless questions are popping up into my head. I still hope that the balance will be good BOTH dps-wise and DCD-wise when the next tier of gear arrives.
  7. How hard can it be to understand that they do not intend to touch anything but dps and hps with those patches? Im pretty sure you will find another nerfhammer smashed at mercs soon enough.
  8. Since Gunnery are sooo much easier to play, and doing good sustained dps its really no point to have an IO/AS before you enter MM operations.
  9. I'd say that for preferred and F2P, the cap could be the same in legacy bank.
  10. Wow, I don't see that many Mando/Mercs anymore. When I am doing regs on TRE its crawling with Juggs and Sins. The amount of mercs is equal with the Snipers. But yeah, I agree with TS, it really needs to be balanced, its a pain atm. It almost makes me forget about the **** I get from the crates. (Intendend?)
  11. Why would they spend time and money "fixing/doing w/e" something without reason? There has to be some reason somewhere you know, but they don't need to tell everything. They did mention and explain the new aoe-circles and the XP-boost though.
  12. Synthweaving is the one you want. As a Trooper you want alacrity and crit augments. Both synth, arms, and armor are able to create the Kits.
  13. Well, I would like to see the "gear pieces" dropped from the command crates, being converted into (preferred amount) unassembled tokens and make these legacy wide. With this change you remove the RNG pretty much, and you can work towards what you want, for wich alt you want, and without being worried about the next Gear drop being the exact same you just bought. I do like the Galactic Command system, and want it to stay. For me who likes both raiding, warzones and Gsf its lovely to do whatever Group content I want to do, whenever I want and still feel that its awarding.
  14. Well, I think the reason for the GC gearing is that it should take longer to get the best gear. By crafting you can have decent HM gear very fast, but for the top notch, you have to lay down more than two weeks of gaming. Thats what I think.
  15. To rub it a bit, I could tell you that on one of my characters I've got 7 set pieces. He is lvl 60 atm. There of there pieces were head pieces. On one of my other characters I have lvl 40 and only one set piece, thats just crazy. Make january come fast!
  16. Hello! I want to roll a melee class (dps ofc), and I need some advice. I intend to do both HM ops and pvp, but mainly Ops to alternate with my Commando main. My intention are that I have knowledge about both the burst- and DoTspec of the class and respec when it suits the fight best. I have searched around a lot, but can't find any overall comparison after 5.0. What i search answears for; -dps viability in hm ops fights -utility -rotation dificulty -survivability The only melee dps I have done anything harder than Tactical FPs are Vengence Jugg, so I'm still a noob too melee classes. 😄 Cheers
  17. Hey! I have been looking around and can't find what I'm looking for. As the topic; What "should" be done before the update hits? I know that not all info are shared with us yet, but still there have to be something you could start to work with. First off all I guess is to optimize your crystal inventories on every alts to maximize your credit income ofc. But how about crafting mats? Should I sell every grade 9 mats, or will they be "needed" after 5.0? Any specific achievments that will be harder to get after 5.0? If you know something more to think about, just let us know!
  18. Half a year ago, I was a solo player except doing warzones (loves it) and a few tacticals. Thou I did not intend to hit legendary, I eventually got into an amazing guild, and have hit the legendary achievment. And you know what? I am now part of a progression team and have cleared 5 HM ops. So, thx Bioware!
  19. Last night I entered Directive 7 in Tactical mode by mistake (I intended to do it solo) with my madness sorcerer. But I decided to give it a shot, and after 4 wipes in the last fight with Mentor I and Lana made it. I did really enjoy the challenge, and I wonder how many other Tacticals that are able to do alone? And, are there any HM FPs that are theoretically soloable? My sorc ALT are now in a mix of 208 and 216 gear with 220 implants and earpiece.
  20. Thx alot guys! I have mainly 216 with a 4-5 220 augmented gear. So that would be no problem. Well, I may just give it a shot and watch youtube a bit then!
  21. Hello guys! I'm a returbiljett player. I began playing at launch, and quit a few months after RotHC and not playing since. Its my only MMORPG i've played. Back then I only pvp:ed and did some HM FPs. I did not do more contents, since I was here for the story and fell in love with PVP. But now I'm looking at the operations. It would be fun to try someone, and its sad to see the empty spot in the achivment list I am in a quite "large" social guild at TRE atm, but there are not many of my guildies who are interested of ops. And most of them are pretty new and casual. IF I solo quene for EV etc, what will people do when I say Ive never done one single operation? I'm pretty shy, and will easily be discouraged. So, is it worth doing some operations? I really dont NEED to do it, but it would be fun to try someones atleast a couple of times.
  22. Thanks guys! I have learned a lot. Tested a FP today, and it went very very good Some of the answers in this thread isn't to find anywhere else, and its them I have enjoyed most. Thanks a lot!
  23. Well, you hit me there. You know, Ive never before played with others. But since I loved Kotor and wanted to test this. After reading all of those excellent answers I've been training. Didn't know it was so much finesse in this game! Just thought it was a very hard game. But now when reading a lot of guides and stuff, I really can admit that I don't know how to play. Just as you say I just have pressed some bottoms to do something. And since I get killed in FPs all the time I guess I have stolen a lot of aggro. Thank you very much guys! I wont be bothering anyone before I have learned to play the game properly.
  24. Hello! I have a sniper dps and have lvld to around 40. Now I've being doing some flashpoints. But I've being kicked a lot because I'm not doing my job. I usually starts with saying Im noob, and ask them to explain how to act. But I usually dont get any answer. How should I act to be a good Dps? What should I avoid, and what should I focus on? Im totally noob to this kind of game. And btw.. How do I find a group for a Heroic? I see some requests in the chat, but I dont know how to join. Thanks a lot!
