Honestly this would sell a lot even if it didnt look cool, but it would definitely be better if it looked cool and Im sure it would be a plus for a lot of people if it was lore friendly. They worked reasonably well in ArcheAge, although animal mounts would go completely spastic if you set yourself to follow someone and that person got on the back seat of your mount. (Untested feature combination: getting on someone else's mount should remove the owner's follow target from you, and didn't.) In Runes of Magic they were a recipe for killing your passenger. This was because of a relatively intolerant server-side policy toward client / server sync problems - the server would kill your character if its idea of your location disagreed too much with the client's - combined with erratic accuracy of position tracking. It was so bad that the announcement of a six-seat mount was met with hysterical laughter and ridicule on the forums.
